A Concert of Champions #1 Marvel Rivals Cover Spotlights Luna Snow’s Mirae 2099 Design

Luna Snow, Marvel’s very own K-Pop superstar, is enjoying a surge in popularity thanks to her inclusion in Marvel Rivals, the hit global gaming phenomenon from Marvel Games and NetEase Games. On April 2, fans can dive into the breakout character’s latest comic book adventure in Concert of Champions #1, an action-packed one-shot by writer Jason Loo and artist Rafael Loureiro where Luna shares the stage with other music-based super heroes like Dazzler and Lila Cheney. The upcoming comic will have a special Marvel Rivals Variant Cover spotlighting Luna’s Mirae 2099 costume, a new in-game skin that was made available to players last week. The cover will follow previous Marvel Rivals Variant Cover collections, including the recently announced ten hitting stands in March, each highlighting the hit game’s original artwork and unique designs. 

Luna Snow made her debut in the MARVEL Future Fight video game before captivating comic readers in titles like Agents of Atlas. In addition to Concert of Champions #1, fans can also catch Luna Snow next month in Doom’s Division, a One World Under Doom tie-in series starring Luna alongside other iconic South Korean heroes.

Marvel Rivals goes from video to comic this April

Marvel Rivals, a new Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter from Marvel Games and NetEase Games, is a certified global hit! Released last month, the game allows players to choose from an impressive lineup of Marvel characters and battle it out across the Multiverse with unique powersets. This April, Marvel Comics will publish Marvel Rivals #1, a special one-shot inspired by the game’s story. Written by Paul Allor and drawn by artist Luca Claretti, Marvel Rivals #1 collects all six issues of Marvel Unlimited’s Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic in print for the first time.

The saga depicts an epic battle between two squads of members pulled from the original roster of playable characters including iconic heroes like Spider-Man, Captain America, and Wolverine along with breakout stars like Luna Snow and Jeff the Land Shark! Combining the breakneck action of the game with classic Marvel Comics storytelling, it’s a must-have for fans who wish to dive deeper into the thrilling world of Marvel Rivals! 

Set in Tokyo 2099, the time rift has disrupted the Web of Life and Destiny, leaving the world’s heroes to battle it out over the best way to fix it. One group, led by Peni Parker, wants to plug the Web into Cyberspace to repair it. The other group, led by Spider-Man, favors a more conservative approach of using Chronovium to strengthen the web and allow it to repair itself. The time rift makes rivals out of us all, but which team will overtake the other?

Marvel celebrates Marvel Rivals with Free Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game Add-Ons

In celebration of the electrifying release of Marvel Rivals, Marvel has launched multiple ways for fans to dive into the storytelling and characters behind the smash-hit game! Marvel not only launched a new digital comic, but also a new set of free digital Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game character sheets, play map, and a new Domination-inspired game mode.

In addition to reading new stories inspired by the game, fans can also play their favorite characters from the Marvel Rivals roster with their very own twist! As a special free addition to the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game, Marvel has released free character sheets for 12 different super heroes including Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, Luna Snow, and more, along with a new Yggsard Royal Palace play map, and a brand-new game mode inspired by Marvel Rivals’ Domination game mode. The new game mode can be played player vs. player or player vs. narrator and features quick and easy rules on how to jump into the action. All downloads will be available for free only on Marvel.com/rpg. To play the game and embody their own characters, all fans need are some dice, a group of friends to play, and the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game Core Rulebook!

Marvel Rivals: Galactic Tunes Original Video Game Soundtrack is available now

Marvel Games and NetEase Games recently unveiled the launch trailer for Marvel Rivals, the new Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter that lets players assemble an ever-evolving all-star squad of Super Heroes and Super Villains battling with unique powers across a dynamic lineup of destructible maps from across the Marvel Multiverse. The highly-anticipated game launches today, December 6 with all heroes unlocked and free to play at launch and beyond.

The launch trailer features renowned rock vocalist Chrissy Costanza, who garners more than 4.5 million listeners monthly on Spotify and has garnered over 3 billion streams, performs the game’s theme song “Rivals ‘Til the End”. Best known as the powerhouse frontwoman of band Against The Current and for her iconic gaming anthems like “Legends Never Die” and “Phoenix”, Chrissy’s career seamlessly bridges the worlds of gaming and music.
