Find out more about their stories in MARVEL Contest of Champions as Kabam debuted an all-new motion comic teasing the two new Champions coming to the popular mobile fighter. Here is a quick look at what The Contest has in store this month:

Mister Fantastic has noticed interdimensional activities along with the signature of a large mechanical device in the Battlerealm recently, and has tasked you with assessing what is going on. There have also been reports of Champions acting strangely, to the point where their personalities and mannerisms are almost the complete opposite of what they usually would be…

CHARACTER BIOS

When Peni Parker’s father passed away piloting the SP//dr suit, she became the last person able to bond with the radioactive spider controlling the bionic armour. With her Uncle Ben and Aunt May at her side, Peni began piloting the SP//dr suit as the friendly neighborhood spider-hero of New York City!

Miguel O’Hara, a brilliant geneticist from the year 2099, goes through a series of incidents that culminate with him having his genetic code spliced with the DNA of a spider. He gains several spider-related powers similar to the original Spider-Man, like superhuman agility, strength and wall-crawling. However, his powers are slightly different from the original, he can organically create his own webs, he has retractable claws and instead of spider-sense, he has a hyper accurate vision which is so powerful that it essentially works as an early warning system.

The Bloodlines have been drawn. Give into her Bloodthirst, claim the souls of your foes and become champion as Purgatory enters The Contest in Kabam’s MARVEL Contest of Champions.

Purgatory is a twisted, demonic creature, from an alternate timeline where Morningstar was finally able to defeat Guillotine and steal her sword back. With the blade finally back in her hands, the demonic presence within it overwhelmed Queen Haasen and convinced her to slay Guillotine. Doing so corrupted both her body and soul, transforming her into Purgatory and sending her on a bloodthirsty rampage unlike any seen in a millennium.

Take a look at Purgatory’s Champion Spotlight, which details her abilities, history, strengths and recommended masteries.

CHARACTER BIOS

Freed from the confines of the iron maiden, Queen Haasen returns! Purgatory is a twisted, demonic creature, from an alternate timeline where Morningstar was finally able to defeat Guillotine and steal her sword back. With the blade back in her hands, the demonic presence within it overwhelmed Queen Haasen and convinced her to slay Guillotine. Doing so corrupted both her body and soul, transforming her into Purgatory and sending her on a bloodthirsty rampage unlike any seen in a millennium.

A younger version of Maestro from an alternate reality that is equal in every way, except he still maintains his sanity. The Overseer has just started his conquering career and while he isn’t villainous, he’s not quite noble either. He uses Captain America’s shield for defense, and the Silver Surfer board as a giant cleaver, but his most powerful weapon is a copy of the Infinity Gauntlet that holds the Cosmic Cube, which he uses to travel across The Battlerealm looking for conquest.

Both characters will arrive in the game in June, and fans can now check out the all-new motion comic – Bloodlines.
