Marvel Animated Minimates Series 7 Revealed

This upcoming seventh series of Marvel Animated Minimates features the first two-packs from the new cartoon Marvel’s Spider-Man as well as more characters from Avengers Assemble, including new editions of classic Super Heroes and Super Villains who have never been done in the animated style!

Series 7 will hit Walgreens stores on or around December 1, 2017, and will include four different two-packs, each containing two 2-inch Minimates mini-figures. The assortment includes:

  • From Marvel’s Spider-Man, Spider-Man faces off with the Scorpion! Criminal Mac Gargan wears a full scorpion suit with an articulated tail, while Spider-Man includes a webline accessory.
  • Also from Marvel’s Spider-Man, Kid Arachnid, a.k.a. Miles Morales, tangles with with the Vulture! The villainous Adrian Toomes features wings, a removable helmet and a transparent flight stand, while Kid Arachnid comes with a webline accessory.
  • From Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Captain Marvel teams up with the Red Hulk! Kree-powered super-heroine Carol Danvers includes energy effects that attach to her hands and a transparent flight stand.
  • Also from Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Captain America puts on his own Hulkbuster armor to stand up to his old foe Baron Zemo! This is the first Minimate ever made of Steve Rogers’ red, white and blue Hulkbuster armor, and it includes a shield accessory and a hinged helmet. Classic Avengers villain Zemo comes with his sword.

Each 2-inch Minimates mini-figure features fully interchangeable parts, so you can trade accessories and create custom looks. Minimates also feature a standard 14 points of articulation, to strike a variety of poses, and each Minimate comes with a clear disc base that pegs into the character’s foot to support dynamic poses.

Diamond Select Reveals Marvel Animated Minimates Series 5; Series 4 Now Available at Walgreens

Diamond Select Toys recently released Series 4 of its Marvel Animated Minimates collection, the latest assortment in an exclusive mini-figure line only available at Walgreens stores. Now they’re ready to unveil the next assortment in the line! This upcoming fifth series of figures features all-new two-packs from Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble, including new variations on your favorite Super Heroes and Super Villains, as well as two never-before-made characters!

Series 5 will hit on July 1, 2017, and will include four different two-packs, each containing two 2-inch Minimates mini-figures. The assortment includes:

  • From Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Girl faces off with Hulk Carnage! May “Mayday” Parker is the daughter of Peter Parker from an alternate Earth, while a Carnage-possessed Hulk ravaged New York City in “The Symbiote Saga.” Spider-Girl includes a webline accessory.
  • Also from Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel battles Kang the Conqueror! Teenage Inhuman superheroine Kamala Khan comes with an interchangeable stretching arm and giant hand to challenge the master of time himself! This is the first Marvel Minimate of the new Ms. Marvel!
  • From Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Iron Man’s Mark II armor goes up against Proxima Midnight, a super-strong lieutenant of Thanos. Iron Man features a removable helmet and flight stand, while Proxima comes with her spear. This is the first Marvel Minimate of Proxima Midnight!
  • Also from Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Bruce Banner puts on his very own Hulkbuster Armor to take on the gamma-irradiated genius The Leader! The Hulkbuster Armor is removable, and Bruce includes alternate parts so you can display him in his Stark Industries T-shirt!

Marvel Animated Minimates Series 3 Revealed; Series 2.5 Now Available at Walgreens

Diamond Select Toys is rolling out Series 2.5 of its Marvel Animated Minimates collection, the latest assortment of an exclusive mini-figure line now available only at Walgreens stores. That means it’s time to officially announce the next assortment in the line! This upcoming wave of figures from Diamond Select Toys features all-new two-packs from Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble, including Super Heroes, Super Villains and the first-ever Minimate of Marvel’s breakout star, Squirrel Girl!

Series 3 will hit in Fall of 2016, and will include four different two-packs, each containing two 2-inch Minimates mini-figures. The assortment includes:

  • From Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man, the alternate-universe Spider-Man Noir pairs up with Itsy Bitsy Spider-Man! Spider-Man Noir has a removable hat and coat, and Itsy Bitsy Spider-Man includes an alternate head with a new facial expression. This is the first Marvel Minimate ever made of Spider-Man Noir.
  • Also from Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man, a more grown-up Jet Pack Spider-Man teams up with one of New York City’s greatest Super Heroes, Squirrel Girl! Jet-Pack Spider-Man comes with a removable jet pack, flame stand, alternate head and thumbs-up hand, while Squirrel Girl comes with three squirrels and two burritos! This is the first Marvel MInimate ever made of Squirrel Girl.
  • From Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, an updated Season 3-accurate Captain America will face off with Squadron Supreme member Hyperion. Captain America will include his shield, an alternate hair piece and an interchangeable shield hand, and Hyperion will include a flight base. This is the first Marvel Minimate ever made of Hyperion.
  • lso from Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Falcon teams up with Ant-Man. Both characters’ helmets are removable, and Falcon features removable wings, while Ant-Man comes with an interchangeable hair piece.

The Marvel Animated Universe is expanding at Walgreens! With Series 2 of Marvel Animated Minimates shipping to stores now, Diamond Select Toys is ready to officially announce Series 2.5 of the Walgreens-exclusive mini-figure line! The all-new assortment features two-packs from Marvel’s Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man, including Super Heroes, Super Villains and the first-ever Minimates of the Squadron Supreme!

Series 2.5 will include four different two-packs, each containing two 2-inch Minimates mini-figures. The assortment includes:

  • From Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Thor will come packaged with the Squadron Supreme’s Nighthawk. This is the first Minimate of Nighthawk ever made! Thor will include an alternate hair piece and his hammer Mjolnir, and Nighthawk will feature a removable mask.
  • Also from Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Iron Man faces off with the Squadron’s Power Princess. This is the first poseable figure of Power Princess ever made in any toy line! Both characters’ helmets are removable, and Power Princess will include her hammer and an alternate hair piece.
  • From Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man, SHIELD Armor Spider-Man comes with his teammate Power Man! Spider-Man comes with a blaster, and Power Man includes an alternate head with a new facial expression.

Marvel Animated Minimates Series 1.5 Headed to Walgreens!

With the first series of Marvel Animated Minimates scheduled to arrive in Walgreens stores in early September, it’s time to take a look at Series 1.5! Scheduled for a holiday release, this all-new assortment of eight Minimates mini-figures draws on the world of Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man, providing a cool mix of animated-style heroes and villains!

The assortment, which is expected to be available in all Walgreens by December, includes the following two-packs:

  • From Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man (with web line and interchangeable half-raised mask head) comes packed with Agent Coulson, with fully removable SHIELD armor to reveal his blue suit underneath.
  • From Avengers Assemble, a massive Hulkbuster Iron Man, with removable armor pieces and a flip-up helmet, comes with the evil android Ultron.
  • From Ultimate Spider-Man, the alternate-reality Spider-Man, Miles Morales (with web line and interchangeable unmasked head) comes with the Harry Osborne version of Venom, with removable parts and an interchangeable head to create the Venom clones from “Venom Bomb.”
  • From Avengers Assemble, Hawkeye (with quiver, bow and arrows) comes with hired thug Crossbones.

Each Minimates mini-figure features up to 14 points of articulation, and all parts and accessories are fully interchangeable. Each two-pack comes in show-branded packaging, with a clear display base for each figure. Look for Series 1 in September and Series 1.5 in December, exclusively at Walgreens!
