Mad Cave Studios has announced the next chapter of the Underworld Universe with the debut of Victoria Jaguar #1, an all-new five-issue series from Underworld creator Mark London, featuring breathtaking painted interior artwork and the main cover by comics superstar Marco Rudy, with letters by Pat Brosseau.

Since launching in 2024, the acclaimed shared universe has grown into an interconnected line of supernatural thrillers spanning Revolution 9, Hour of the Wolf, Exit City, the crossover event Endless Night, and Mister Nemo. Now, it turns its attention to ancient legends and immortal guardians, broadening the mythology that connects its growing line of supernatural stories.

The Lake Como Comic Art Festival has announced more artists who will be appearing at the 2025 event including first time guests Ivan Bigarella, J. Scott Campbell, Tomm Coker, Yannick Corboz, Werther Dell’Edera, Lee Garbett, Puppeteer Lee, Tanya Lehoux, Rachta Lin, Warren Louw, Jon J. Muth, Joe Quinones, Sylvain Repos, Darick Robertson, Marco Rudy, Zoe Thorogood, and Federico Vicentini along with returning guests Mirka Andolfo, Mahmud Asrar, Simone Bianchi, Pierangelo Boog, Mark Brooks, Elena Casagrande, Carla Cohen, Giorgio Comolo, Jeff Dekal, Gabriele Dell’Otto, Riccardo Federici, Adi Granov, Jock, David Mack, Alex Maleev, Enrico Marini, Lucio Parillo, Mark Raats, Humberto Ramos, Liam Sharp, Martin Simmonds, Pepe Valencia, and Olivier Vatine.

The celebrated art festival offers fans and collectors an intimate opportunity to meet with and purchase original art from world renowned artists at a luxury destination in Italy. The Lake Como Comic Art Festival begins Friday May 16th, with an opening reception overlooking the magnificent lake and gardens of the historic Villa Erba in Cernobbio, Lake Como Italy. The festival will run for two full days, Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18th. The Lake Como Comic Art Festival offers three ticketing levels: a 2 Day Pass, an All-Access Pass, and for those looking for something extra special there is a VIP Experience level that includes an original sketch by Alex Ross or Bill Sienkiewicz. The exclusive sketch will be randomly selected and will only be available for pickup in person at the show. This level also includes entry to the highly coveted opening reception. Mad Cave Studios has announced When the Blood Has Dried, the forthcoming Teen+ Fantasy/Action Drama series written by Irish creator Gary Moloney with art by fan-favorite illustrator and RPG creator Daniel Romero Ulloa, and letters by Becca Carey; featuring cover A by celebrated Canadian artist Marco Rudy, with cover B by renowned creator Declan Shalvey.

A Wave Blue World Kickstarts Maybe Someday: Stories of Promise, Visions of Hope

Maybe Someday: Stories of Promise, Visions of Hope

A Wave Blue World has announced the launch of its latest anthology, Maybe Someday: Stories of Promise, Visions of Hope which is now raising funds on Kickstarter. The graphic novel anthology is a sequel to All We Ever Wanted: Stories of a Better World which received a Ringo Award nomination for “best anthology.”

Maybe Someday is a new full-color anthology presenting over twenty-five aspirational stories to lift the spirits of readers and instill the hope that a brighter future is possible. Maybe Someday also reunites the publisher with the editorial team of Matt Miner and Eric Palicki.

The Maybe Someday Kickstarter campaign, running through the entire month of June, offers a Kickstarter exclusive cover, which is only available to backers. The cover art is by Max Dunbar with colors by Espen Grundetjern. Logo and cover design are by Tim Daniel. A different cover by this same team will be featured on the direct market edition when the book comes out later this year.

Other rewards include a digital sketchbook, signed bookplates, and combo packs of previously published anthologies.
