NYCC 2022: Marvel announces new Rogue & Gambit, X-23, and more!

The Women of Marvel returned to New York York Comic Con with an impressive line-up of Marvel talent assembled to discuss what’s next for Marvel’s woman-led titles.

On the panel, writer, editor, and podcast host Angélique Roché was joined by Marvel’s Digital Media Executive Director and co-host of Women of Marvel Podcast Ellie Pyle, Senior Editor Lauren Bisom, Women of Marvel podcast co-host Judy Stephens, and writers Eve L. Ewing, Stephanie Phillips, and Erica Schultz

The lively discussion kicked off with the exciting news that the new season of Women of Marvel podcast will return on Thursday, November 3! Audience members were the first to learn the theme of the new season is “The Super Power of Mentorship.”

Ms. Marvel Embiggens to Marvel Unlimited with Bottled Up

A new Ms. Marvel one-shot will has debuted on Marvel Unlimited! In the new Infinity Comic, Ms. Marvel: Bottled Up, Kamala Khan and her friend Nakia visit a local museum to escape the summer heat. However, their day of sight-seeing comes to an end when a jinn trapped in an ancient Mesopotamian exhibit is accidentally released! Can Ms. Marvel contain it before it escapes and wreaks havoc?

The creative team includes writer Samira Ahmed, artist Ramon Bachs, colorist Dee Cunniffe, and edited Lauren Bisom. The Ms. Marvel: Bottled Up is now available on the Marvel Unlimited app in the exclusive Infinity Comic format.

To escape the heat of the city, Kamala Khan and her friend Nakia visit a local museum’s hallowed, air-conditioned halls. Unfortunately, it ends up being less of a refuge as the girls are blocked at every turn by sticky-fingered campers. But when one of the kids accidentally releases a jinn trapped in an ancient Mesopotamian exhibit, it’s up to Ms. Marvel to contain it before it possesses a camper and escape into the streets of New York City to wreak havoc!
