Skybound has revealed a first look at Kroma by Lorenzo De Felici #4, the series finale of the acclaimed prestige comic book series written, drawn, and colored by superstar creator Lorenzo De Felici. Kroma by Lorenzo De Felici #4 will arrive in comic book shops April 12, 2023. 

Kroma’s life alongside her new family is violently interrupted. If the rulers of the Pale City won’t let them live in peace, Kroma will give them war. 

In addition to the main cover by De Felici, the Kroma variant cover program includes two covers by rotating artists, including a colored dressed cover and a 1:10 black & white full art incentive cover, as well as a 1:25 black & white full art incentive cover by De Felici. The Kroma #4 variant lineup features a variant by Gigi Cavenago, available in both full color and B&W versions.

Skybound announces The Walking Dead Deluxe, Kroma, and I Hate This Place exclusives for Local Comic Shop Day

Skybound has revealed their three exclusive new limited edition covers debuting as part of Local Comic Shop Day, a celebration of comic stores on Wednesday, November 23.  

Available exclusively in comic book shops, these new variants to The Walking Dead Deluxe #50, Kroma #1, and I Hate This Place Vol.1 will only be available while supplies last and won’t be reprinted again. 

The Walking Dead Deluxe #50 LCSD Wraparound Variant (AUG228337) features Charlie Adlard’s wraparound cover with an unforgettable full foil treatment. In the now historic 50th issue, Carl fights for survival alone. The Kroma #1 variant lineup is headlined by two striking covers by acclaimed multihyphenate creator James Harren. In addition to the main cover by De Felici, the Kroma variant cover program includes two covers by rotating artists—with Harren on for issue #1—a colored dressed cover and a 1:10 black & white full art incentive cover, as well as a 1:25 black & white full art incentive cover by De Felici. Gigi Cavenago, Jakub Rebelka, and Mirka Andolfo will join in the rotating artist spot for future issues.

Skybound has announced the launch of Kroma, a new comic book series being written, drawn, and colored by creator Lorenzo De Felici that promises to take readers on a breathtaking adventure like none other, filled with strange creatures and unparalleled beauty. Kroma by Lorenzo De Felici #1 will arrive in comic book shops November 2, 2022.

Imprisoned in a tower within the walls of the Pale City, Kroma lives her days out in darkness, believing she is the most evil creature alive. However, where her people see a monster, the mysterious orphan Zet sees a human. The world and titular character of Kroma recently made their first appearance to critical acclaim in the blockbuster Skybound X #25, available in comic shops and via digital providers now.

Skybound has revealed a first look at Skybound X #25, the return of the hit anthology series Skybound X, following its wildly successful five-issue limited run last summer. In celebration of Image Comics’ 30th anniversary, Skybound X returns with issue #25, embracing the “Images of Tomorrow” legacy by showcasing four all-new series—the highly anticipated Battle Beast, Dark Ride, Kroma, and Scurry—available at comic book shops July 20.  

The extra-length issue features the monumental return of a widely beloved character from the Invincible universe and the introduction of unforgettable new ones from some of the most-acclaimed comics talent today, all setting the stage for epic new series launches.  

From the pages of Invincible comes breakout star Battle Beast, reuniting the legendary Invincible team of Robert Kirkman and Ryan Ottley. The acclaimed team behind Birthright, Josh Williamson and Andrei Bressan, also reunite to kick off the new horror epic Dark Ride. Then, discover the first appearance of the savage and beautiful Kroma, from writer/artist Lorenzo De Felici. And finally, Mac Smith masterfully tells the story of how animals battle for survival when all of humanity dies in the post-apocalyptic world of Scurry.
