Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Venom Snake PLAY DEMO Ver. 1/6 Scale in February 2019

Gecco Corp. has announce that Venom Snake who appeared shirtless in the play demo version of Metal Gear Solid V at the Tokyo Game Show 2014 is now lined up as limited model in 800 pieces.

The upper body captures the anatomy of an experienced aging soldier, his torso thinly covered with fat and countless scars piled up from tough missions and war. The left bionic arm is equipped with a Stun Arm, which can knock enemies unconscious with electric shock, and is interchangeable with the Hand of Jehuty or the red default one. In the game, the length of the horn on the head changes according to the situation, for this statue it is grown. This statue highlights both his relaxed posture with Phantom Cigar in one hand and a super tense atmosphere with his sharp eye always watching out for enemies.

The ABS/PVC prepainted statue is set for release February 2019 stands at 32cm high and retails for $299.99. The sculpt is by Shinya Yamaoka, bionic arm sculpt by Masaki Akao, stun arm/hand of Jehuty sculpt by Yoshiro Nishitani, and paint by Katsushige Akeyama.

The statue will be destributed by Ultra Tokyo Connection, Diamond Comics Distributor, and Sideshow in North America and D4TOYS in other countries.

AMON Devilman Polystone Statue by Gecco

Gecco has revealed a Amon: Apocalypse of Devilman, AMON 1/6 Scale Statue. Retailing for $299.99 the statue will be out in July 2017. Scultped by Shinya Akao the statue is painted by Katsuhige Akeyama.

Devilman is a ground breaking comic series created by master manga artist Go Nagai, who marks his 50th anniversary as an artist in 2017. Many spin-off works have been released by various creators, and “Amon: Apocalypse of Devilman” is one of them. In this story, the mighty demon fighter “Amon” is fused with a human named Akira Fudo which we’ve recreated as a fine art polystone statue.

The impressive figure was sculpted with an emphasis on “the slender and strong shape” of the iconic character and features many exciting highlights capturing both the brutal and stoic facial expression, raw power of form and every minute creature detail, nothing was left out.

This 1/6 scale Amon measures 46cm tall with its monstrous wing spread.

A huge demon skull and magic circle are designed on the base capturing the hideous demon’s world. This is the finest representation of Devilman to date.

Dark Souls 3 “Souls of Cinder” statue by Gecco

Gecco Corp has announced that “Souls of Cinder” the main visual of Dark Souls III is recreated as a polystone statue their latest statue from the mega-hit RPG series.

This gigantic boss enemy was thoroughly supervised by the design team of FromSoftware to be a whopping 42 cm (17 inches) tall statue in spite of its’ 1/6 scale.

The chainmail of the prototype was woven and produced in the same way as real armor, just at a much smaller scale. The detailed texture is painted so realistically you can almost smell the burning metal.

Also included as a bonus with the pre-order is the 1/1 scale “Ember” which can be displayed alone on the magnet base.

Releasing in May 2017, the statue will retail for $499.99, sculpted by Shinya Akao and painted by Katsushige Akeyama.
