Kadokawa Corporation Adds Restaurant to Another World NEW EDITION to Its Lineup

Kadakowa Corporation started the speedy ebook translation and direct distribution of manga this past August, and is now adding Restaurant to Another World NEW EDITION to its lineup, the anime adaptation of which will also be broadcast/streamed in Japan and worldwide!

Restaurant to Another World New Edition is a newly comicalized version of the popular light novel Restaurant to Another World written by Junpei Inuzuka and illustrated by Katsumi Enami (published by Shufunotomo Infos Co., Ltd.)

It was comicalized once by another company, but the serialization ended in June 2019. The new edition manga, freshly created by Morozawa and Yamizawa, covers from the very first episode. It debuted on September 29th and will catch up with the serialization in Japan during October on several online ebook stores. In particular, the first chapter is free at BOOK WALKER Global!

The anime series aired first in 2017, and now finally the second season will return this October, and be available on Crunchyroll. Don’t miss both the manga and anime!

Yen Press Expands Distribution Deal with Diamond to Include International Markets

Effective June 5, 2017, Diamond Comic Distributors will assume exclusive sales and distribution for Yen Press outside of the North American market in traditional and non-traditional book channels, a deal that was announced at the London Book Fair 2017. This is a significant expansion of Yen’s existing relationship with Diamond for the comic book specialty market, and, most importantly, gives Diamond exclusive rights to offer Yen Press titles in the UK and Ireland book markets.

Yen Press, LLC is a joint venture between Kadakowa Corporation and Hachette Book Group, dedicated to publishing manga and graphic novels for adults and young readers. Founded in 2006, Yen Press has quickly risen to become one of the largest and most prolific publishers of manga and original graphic novels in the North American marketplace and has become a driving force in the introduction of light novels to new readers through its Yen On imprint.
