Marvel Contest of Champions Reveals Captain Britain and Omega Sentinel in an All-New Trailer!

The Contest continues as Kabam has premiered The Last Word, an all-new Champion Reveal Trailer for MARVEL Contest of Champions! The trailer teases two new Champions coming to the popular mobile fighter – Captain Britain & Omega Sentinel. Here is a quick look at what The Contest has in store this month:

The Grandmaster and Captain Britain bring the warring mutant factions of Krakoa, Clan Akkaba, and The Brotherhood of Mutants together for a tournament to decide who is worthy to lead all the mutants of The Battlerealm, but the arrival of a mutant-hunting foe threatens the very existence of all factions!

Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock spent most of her adult life as the mutant Psylocke, fighting alongside the X-Men while her brother took on the mantle of Captain Britain. After years spent trapped in the body of the assassin Kwannon, Betsy was finally able to regain her original form just in time to take over the role of Captain Britain from her brother Brian Braddock. Using her mutant abilities to engage her opponents with telepathy, telekinesis, and potent psionic weapons, the new Captain Britain is a powerful force for good in the multiverse.

Omega Prime Sentinels are humans who have been augmented by Sentinel technology to become cyborg sleeper agents, only transforming into mutant killing machines when they detect one nearby. Karima Shapandar is one such Sentinel, having struggled for years between her human instincts to serve and protect, and the Sentinel protocols that would make her a killer. In the end, Karima’s Sentinel side overtook her humanity, and now as Omega Sentinel she serves as the ultimate Human-Sentinel-Hybrid hunting mutants and enforcing the will of Nimrod.

Kabam Premieres an All-new Champion Reveal Trailer for Marvel Contest of Champions

Beginning a new era for The Contest, Kabam has premiered an all-new Champion Reveal Trailer for MARVEL Contest of Champions, setting the stage for the looming peril threatening The Battlerealm. Check out the new trailer teasing the two new Champions – Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Misty Knight – coming to the popular mobile fighter. Here is a quick look at what The Contest has in store this month:

Galactus is here and has destroyed Hell’s Kitchen! Captain America, aka Sam Wilson, has contacted The Summoner in order to round up survivors and lead them to an old Helicarrier captained by the venerable Misty Knight. With Villains and Heroes aboard, Misty intends to build a neutral community called Safe Haven, a place for those who wish to escape the Galactus Threat. However, not everyone is on board with the idea and begins to plot a mutiny, forcing both Sam and Misty into a difficult moral quandary.

Sam Wilson, formerly known as the Falcon, took the mantle of Captain America when his friend and mentor Steve Rogers went into retirement. At first, Sam gave the Shield away, believing that the legacy belonged to Steve alone, but when world peace and stability were threatened by Super Soldiers, he decided to accept the title of Captain America and make a stand for what he believed was right!

Expert detective and veteran of the toughest streets of New York, Mercedes “Misty” Knight is joining the contest to bring justice through any means necessary. After losing her arm in an incident while working with the NYPD Bomb Squad, Misty was gifted a cybernetic replacement from the one and only Tony Stark. This powerful prosthetic, made of Antarctic Vibranium, carries the ability to harness cryogenic energy and liquefy all but the strongest of metals. With these new powers, Misty has dedicated her life to taking down the most dangerous criminals across the globe!

Also, coming this February, a new show is set to premiere on the Mojo Network! Tune in every week to complete new quests and earn Mojo Bucks to spend in the Mojo Television Network Store.

MARVEL Contest of Champions Summoner’s Choice 2022 Voting Begins This Friday

For its second year, the popular mobile fighter MARVEL Contest of Champions is putting the power in players hands with Kabam’s official Summoner’s Choice Champion Vote.

Kabam announced the first round of voting for Summoner’s Choice 2022 begins this Friday, Jan. 7 through Monday, Jan. 10, allowing the community to choose which new Champion will join The Battlerealm as a player character. This year, players have 12 different iconic Marvel characters to choose from in a bracket-style tournament, with the winner being announced late this month.

Voting takes place in-game and, for the first time, on the official MARVEL Contest of Champions twitter account for one wildcard winner in the first round.

Kraven the Hunter Comes to the Battlerealm in Marvel Contest of Champions

The hunt is on! Kraven the Hunter has arrived in The Battlerealm! Find out more about Kraven’s story in MARVEL Contest of Champions as Kabam debuted an all-new motion comic revealing the new Champion coming to the popular mobile fighter. Here is a quick look at what The Contest has in store this month:

A mysterious flower originating from The Savage Lands has started to destroy communes within The Battlerealm! S.H.I.E.L.D., hoping to contain the threat, sets up a cordon to halt the spread of the flower.

Spider-Man is tasked with leading an expedition into The Savage Lands to help identify the locations of the flower. Helping him with this goal is The Summoner and a guide hired by S.H.I.E.L.D, Kraven the Hunter!

Kraven, feeling there’s an ulterior motive to S.H.I.E.L.D.’s interest in The Savage Lands, uses the opportunity to investigate those who hired him. This sends Spider-Man off course and brings them into contact with Champions who want to exploit the resources of the Savage Lands for themselves. Why is S.H.I.E.L.D. in the Savage Lands? Why do Champions want these mysterious flowers? Find out this month!

Sergei Nikolaievich Kravinoff was once known as the world’s greatest hunter, often killing his prey with his bare hands. Despite his success he grew bored with hunting big game, so he decided to hunt for more dangerous and powerful prey. He chose to hunt Spider-Man, someone he saw as a real challenge worthy of his skills, however his constant failure to defeat Spider-Man led him into a path of villainy and insanity.

Ikaris is an Eternal, once a race of super powered beings engineered by The Celestials to watch over and protect humanity from Deviants. Armed with super strength, flight, immortality, and cosmic energy powers, Ikaris serves as the stalwart leader of the Eternals tasked with safeguarding Earth.

MARVEL’s Eternals Sersi Is Now Available on Marvel Contest of Champions

Inspired by Marvel Studios’ Eternals, Sersi enters The Contest in Kabam’s MARVEL Contest of Champions!

Sersi is an Eternal, one of a race of ancient aliens who have lived on Earth for eons in secret. Unlike her fellow Eternals, Sersi favors living among humanity, and doubles as a museum curator while also protecting them from the Deviant threat. With the ability to manipulate matter allowing her to alter the composition of any non-sentient material she touches, Sersi sets out to reconnect with her fellow Eternal, Ikaris, and help recruit them all for one last mission.

Star-Studded Content Drops for MARVEL Contest of Champions Now Live

MARVEL Contest of Champions’ latest motion comic is themed after Eternals’ Ikaris and Sersi for Kabam’s latest promotional video – “The Eternals: Ikaris and Sersi enter The Battlerealm”

MARVEL Contest of Champions will also see Eternals-themed content in the game. This includes a Limited-Timed Event Quest themed after the upcoming film. Also, current and new players who download the game between Nov. 5 – Dec. 15 will get a FREE 3-Star Ikaris and Sersi. Details can be found HERE.

When all that existed was the darkness there was Knull and he thrived in it. But when the Celestial’s creations began consuming his Living Abyss with radiant light, he retaliated. Knull felled one of these primordial gods, absorbing its power and forming All-Black, the Necrosword. With the power of the Celestials on his side and sheer darkness as his weapon, Knull spawned an army of his own, the Symbiotes. Creatures formed from darkness and fear and designed to extinguish the light.

Anti-Venom Is Now Available on Marvel Contest Of Champions

Now morphed into something more wicked than before — Anti-Venom enters The Contest in Kabam’s MARVEL Contest of Champions! Here is a quick bio of the character’s in-game story:

Eddie Brock, now separated from the Venom Symbiote, had his cancer cured by Martin Li, the alter ego of the Super Villain  Mister Negative. Unbeknown to Li, his healing powers fused with the remnants of the Symbiote in Eddie’s body and created a new mindless Symbiote now known as Anti-Venom.

The Contest continues as two new champions overtake the Battlerealm – Anti-Venom and Knull! Find out more about their stories in MARVEL Contest of Champions as Kabam debuted an all-new motion comic teasing the two new Champions coming to the popular mobile fighter. Here is a quick look at what The Contest has in store this month:

A call for help from Nova has come in from the edge of the Symbiote Lands, the unforgiving Battlerealm region that the many Kylntar, (or “Symbiotes”) call home. 

Nova picked up a distress signal from within the Symbiote Lands, one that supplied only foreboding words: “HE IS HERE. OVERRUN.” 

With the rest of the Battlerealm’s Champions indisposed, he has turned to The Contest’s most reliable hero, The Summoner!
