Not an origin story or reimagining, The Green Hornet / Miss Fury is set in the middle of the swinging sixties, blending the charm of the Hornet’s TV era with an added coat of neo-noir wonder. Both characters date back to the 1930s and 40s, with multiple subsequent eras of their adventures. The Green Hornet has featured across radio, films, television, and countless comics, including an acclaimed legacy through Dynamite for nearly 15 years. Miss Fury made her mark as the first female superhero created by a woman, the trailblazing June Tarpé Mills.
The series will feature a set of hard-boiled covers from the likes of Francesco Francavilla, Jae Lee, Jonathan Case, and Jacob Edgar.
Jonathan Case will be a guest at Otakon 2024. He is the voice of Joshua Rosfield from “Final Fantasy XVI.”
Case is an accomplished film and television actor. He has appeared in “Undergods,” “Holby City,” and “Joe Orton: Laid Bare” and has performed on stage in productions such as “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” (London), “Our Last First,” “The Jungle” (St Ann’s Warehouse), and “Macbeth” (Wessex Grove).
Otakon 2024 will be held from August 2 to August 4 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
