Dark Horse Launches On Apple’s iBookstore!

Dark Horse today announced their graphic novels are now available on the iBookstore. Dark Horse is now one of the most widely distributed comics publishers digitally.

Dark Horse is featuring over two hundred top titles, including Mass Effect, Hellboy, Star Wars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Serenity, Sin City, and more. Plus, iBooks users can put Star Wars comics on their bookshelf next to all of their favorite Star Wars novels. Through Apple’s iOS devices, readers are guaranteed a comics-reading experience unlike any other.

IDW Brings Single Issues to Apples iBookstore!

It was announced that beginning today and going forward, new weekly single-issue comic titles from IDW Publishing will go live every Wednesday on the iBookstore. In addition to the 250 graphic novels and collections already available, fans can now look forward to grabbing their favorite new comics on the iBookstore every week, the same way they might have purchased from traditional comic shops or the IDW and Comics Apps.

After taking a hit of the supernatural drug known as Stairway to Heaven, Christina and Trish encounter the ghostly Reaper, a headless Hell’s Angel on a chopper who collects the souls of sinners in the afterlife.

Zombie Terrors (ongoing series) is an anthology of the undead. It gathers together artists and writers from all over the world to have their hand at everyone’s favorite brain eaters. Issues 1-5 will feature content form the Zombie terrors TPB released in 2010, and issues 6 and on will feature all new content.

Zombie Terrors will also be available on Comixology. Comics+ (Iverse), Graphicly, Diamond Digital as well as stand alone apps and epubs on KindleFire, Nook, Kobo, ibookstore, and Googlebooks.

“We’re very excited about the possibility of reaching so many people all over the world, “ explains publisher Frank Forte, “tablets and smart phone ownership is exploding and we want to provide great comics content. The one obstacle we face is coordinating releases an all platforms and devices. We’ll be updating which comics are available on which platforms on our website.”

Zombie Terrors #1 is a morbid flesh rotting collection of zombie tales. Featuring an international cast of artistic talent.
