Magic: The Gathering and PlayStation Reveal a Secret Lair Collaboration

This October, Magic: The Gathering and PlayStation team up for a Secret Lair release.

Launching October 26, the Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair x PlayStation Superdrop features seven unique Secret Lair drops, each with unique cards depicting he worlds of The Last of Us, God of War, Horizon Forbidden West, Uncharted, Ghost of Tsushima, and more. Every card from each Secret Lair pack features iconic characters, key locations, and items reimagined as Magic: The Gathering cards. Wizards of The Coast worked closely with Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studio, Guerrilla, and Sucker Punch Productions to capture the spirit of each game.

This full-color hardcover volume collects concept art and creative commentary chronicling the development of the next entry in the God of War saga. Dark Horse Comics Invites You Back to the World of God of War

Writer Chris Roberson and Eisner-nominated artist Tony Parker return to the world of God of War, along with colorist Dan Jackson and letterer John Roshell, with covers by Dave Rapoza, for God of War: Fallen God.      

God of War: Fallen God follows Kratos after conquering Zeus and thwarting Athena. Believing himself to be finally free of his bondage, he sets sail for the desert in an attempt to distance himself from his home and his shame only to find his rage and guilt follow close behind. Kratos rages against the one foe that has proven to be unconquerable—himself. But a war against oneself is unwinnable, and only invites madness.

Following the immense success of the God of War video game for PlayStation 4 and the art book chronicling its creation, Dark Horse, Santa Monica Studio, and Sony Interactive Entertainment have revealed art from the upcoming God of War comic series. This new four-issue miniseries is full of Norse mythology-inspired action.

Writer Chris Roberson, artist Tony Parker, colorist Dan Jackson, and letterer John Roshell of Comicraft set out to explore whether Kratos, the God of War, will ever find a peace in a world of violence. The beautiful cover art is by artist E.M. Gist. The God of War comic series finds Kratos living in the remote Norse wilds after his war on the gods of Olympus. Seeking to put the rage that defined most of his life behind him, Kratos inadvertently sparks a feud with a mysterious cult of berserkers after attempting to save a stranger being mauled by a monstrous bear. But for the former Ghost of Sparta, no good deed goes unpunished.

God of War #1 goes on sale November 14, 2018.

Funko has announced a new series of Pop! vinyl for the upcoming video game God of War  from Santa Monica Studio and Sony Interactive Entertainment!

This series includes fearsome enemies Draugr and Fire Troll, and father and son duo, Kratos and Atreus!

Add them to your collection this Winter! Pop! Games: God of War Series 2 are out this March.

The Art of God of War and God of War Comics in 2018

Artist Tony Parker will lend his illustrative skills to the mythical Norse adventure series.

The Art of God of War goes on-sale in early 2018.
