Scales & Scoundrels Gets a Pair of New Expanded Editions from TKO Studios

TKO Studios celebrates the return of Scales & Scoundrels – one of comic’s most beloved all-ages series – in new, just released, revised, and expanded definitive editions that are available now in print and digitally.

Written by comics writer Sebastian Girner and the lush, vibrant artwork by French comic artist and animator, Galaad. This gorgeous, multicultural fantasy adventure follows young treasure hunter Luvander in her search for gold and glory. Along with her companions – a prince, his stern bodyguard, and a plucky young dwarf – Lu dives into an epic journey and discovers a secret that will bring light to a world encroached upon by an ancient
darkness.

Scales & Scoundrels Book 1: Where Dragons Wander contains material previously collected in the Image Comics edition of Scales & Scoundrels Vols. 1 & 2, but with reworked artwork for this new TKO Studios release. Lu’s adventure continues in Scales & Scoundrels Book 2: The Festival of Life, with more than 250 pages of original content.

Wonderbound Reveals its Entire 2022 Graphic Novel Slate

Vault’s Young Readers Imprint is Now Wonderbound which launches in 2021

Vault Comics has announced Wonderbound, the new brand for their young readers imprint. Wonderbound will publish science fiction, fantasy, and spooky graphic novels, mostly for middle grades readers. The Wonderbound branding replaces the line’s previous brand, Myriad.  

Every Wonderbound book is a ticket to a land of wonder, inviting you to leave behind the ordinary, and explore a world of magic, marvels, and mysteries. Whether you’re learning fantastical wrassling, going on zany quests to deliver packages (and stuff), solving the mysteries of a gothic mansion, or settling into a spooky new apartment, you’re always in for an adventure.

Wonderbound’s catalog of all-new books includes work from both emerging talent and celebrated, best-selling creators. The wonder begins in Summer 2021, when Wonderbound launches with four books in its first year. In its second year, Wonderbound will scale up, publishing nine books in 2022, including seven all-new books, and the continuation of two series begun in 2021.
