Fist of the North Star Vol. 11 kicks off the next exciting story

Years after the fall of Raoh, Kenshiro has disappeared, and Rin and Bat have grown to young adulthood. Attempting to honor Ken’s legacy, they wander the wasteland defending the defenseless. Kenshiro himself now seeks only peace, hiding himself away in an isolated settlement. Tormented by the memories of those he has lost, he tries to give up the way of the fist. But the forces of chaos are always on the horizon, and Kenshiro will have to once again embrace his fate as the successor of Hokuto Shinken

Alan Scott: The Green Lantern #3 (DC Comics) – The series has been a great mix of real history, DC comic history, and an expansion of Alan’s origin. Solid so far.

Batman/Santa Claus: Silent Knight #4 (DC Comics) – So much fun and perfect for the holiday season as Santa teams with DC’s heroes to stop the Krampus.

Duke #1 (Skybound) – The launch of the G.I. Joe portion of the Energon Universe. We’ve read it, it’s really good.

Fist of the North Star Vol. 11 (VIZ Media) – The next chapter kicks off with a new storyline. We’re hoping for more of the same action with a new focus.

Holy Roller #2 (Image Comics) – The first issue was a surprise as we were introduced to a new “hero” taking on the bigotry in his town.

Local Man #8 (Image Comics) – Every issue has been fantastic as it balances an original story, being an homage, and teasing connections to classic Image superhero comics.

The Penguin #5 (DC Comics) – One of the best series on the shelves right now. It makes you feel bad for the Penguin while fearing him as well.

Timeless #1 (Marvel) – Marvel teases next year’s comics with this end of year release.

Universal Monsters: Dracula #3 (Skybound) – An amazing adaptation of the classic novel.

Fist of the North Star Vol. 10 wraps things up with Kenshrio vs. Raoh, the final battle!

40 Men and 12 Rifles (Arsenal Pulp Press) – an expansive, gripping graphic novel set in Indochina in the year leading up to 1954, when the French-held garrison at Dien Bien Phu fell after a four-month battle, leading to the end of the first Indochina war between French forces and Ho Chi Minh’s nationalist rebels.

Ancient Enemies #6 (Frank Miller Presents) – The series has been the standout from the new publisher and we want to know how it all ends… and see if there’s more to come!

Conan the Barbarian #3 (Titan Comics) – An fun an entertaining take on Conan the Barbarian that old fans will love and new readers can dive right in. Great story and great art.

Creed: Next Round #4 (BOOM! Studios) – The next chapter in the Creed story wraps up here! We’re excited to see how it ends and hope we see more.

Darkwing Duck #9 (Dynamite Entertainment) – We’re fans of the classic animated series and every issue of this series feels like returning to old friends.

Fist of the North Star Vol. 10 (VIZ Media) – We’re expecting more of the same over the top martial arts action in an apocalyptic world.

The Flash #1 (DC Comics) – A new team and a new direction focused on Wally West and the Flash family. There’s a lot of groundwork laid here for what has potential as an interesting direction.

Immortal Thor #2 (Marvel) – The first issue featured some pretty big changes and direction for Thor and we’re intrigued to see what the second brings.

Invincible Iron Man #10 (Marvel) – We’re still skeptical over the whole Tony and Emma wedding but we’re also suckers for events like this.

The Penguin #2 (DC Comics) – Such a fantastic second issue which is impressive since the first was so good too. It’s tragic in so many ways with solid tension throughout.

Sainted Love #1 (Vault Comics) – Get hurled across time and encounter famous queer people throughout history and fight back against all who would see their names and love erased!

Stuff of Nightmares: Red Murder #1 (BOOM! Studios) – New R.L. Stine that features a real ax murderer eerily paralleling a hatch-wielding killer from a comic.

Ultimate Invasion #4 (Marvel) – The miniseries overall has been blah but we want to see what’s next.

Void Rivals #4 (Skybound/Image Comics) – How will the series tie into the Energon Universe further? This issue is a big one! Expect a sellout!

WildC.A.T.s #11 (DC Comics) – Pure dysfunction and great action. The comic continues to deliver.

Fist of the North Star Vol. 8 delivers lots of action and some emotion

In a post-apocalyptic world, a wanderer appears out of the wasteland to bring justice. Ken bears seven scars upon his chest and holds the secret of a mysterious martial art known as Hokuto Shinken, the Divine Fist of the North Star!

In the eighth volume, Kenshiro takes on Holy Emperor Souther, the most powerful of the Six Holy Fists of the South Star. If Kenshiro defeats him, it will set up a fateful battle between Raoh and Toki.

Action Comics #1053 (DC Comics) – The series has been fantastic so far making Superman really feel like a “family” of heroes.

The Ambassadors #1 (Image Comics) – Mark Millar’s newest series with Frank Quitely. The concept sounds interesting where people explain why they should be one of six people in the world to get powers. Part of the bigger picture for Millarworld and the upcoming event, we’re intrigued.

American Born Chinese (First Second) – If you haven’t had a chance to read this modern classic by Gene Luen Yang, here’s your chance before the new Disney+ series.

Bulls of Beacon Hill #3 (AfterShock) – The series has been solid so far and we’re intrigued to see how Christopher Boldt will deal with the attack on him by his father.

Don’t Spit in the Wind #1 (Mad Cave Studios) – A cleaning crew member goes missing near an old nuclear facility.

Dungeons & Dragons Saturday Morning Adventures #1 (IDW Publishing) – IDW’s “Saturday Morning” comics have been fantastic capturing the fun of the original animated series.

Fist of the North Star Vol. 8 (VIZ Media) – Kenshiro takes on the Holy Emperor Souther, the most powerful of the Six Holy Fists of the South Star. Hell yes!

Heavy Bright (Fantagraphics) – A queer young woman aims to dispel the greed and cruel masculine energy that has consumed the world.

Local Man #2 (Image Comics) – The first issue about a washout superhero was fantastic and we’re excited for what’s next in this series that’s an homage, spoof, and celebration of Image’s superheroes.

Unstoppable Doom Patrol #1 (DC Comics) – The next steps for the team was hinted at in Lazarus Planet and this series seems like it’ll deal with the aftermath of that event.

Waller vs. Wildstorm #1 (DC Comics/DC Black Label) – We’re so pumped to see national security expert Spencer Ackerman take on writing Waller!
