My Name is Shingo Vol. 1 is an interesting concept that doesn’t quite work… yet

When an industrial robot named Monroe begins to work at his father’s factory, Satoru is fascinated. As he and his friend Marin spend more time with Monroe, they start to suspect there’s much more to the machine than anyone else realizes. But neither children nor adults are prepared for Monroe’s violent awakening into consciousness.

Spider-Man: Fake Red is a fun manga spin on the classic character

Yu’s new high school is kind of awful. He’s failing his classes and striking out socially. Everything changes when he finds one of Spider-Man’s costumes abandoned in an alleyway. At first, it’s fun to put on the costume and play hero, but when powerful enemies appear, Yu quickly realizes he’s out of his element.
