eigoMANGA Releases A New Chapter To The Vanguard Princess Comic Series

eigoMANGA has announced that the company has released its latest chapter to a comic book series based on the PC game Vanguard Princess.

Chapter 3 of the Vanguard Princess comic book series is an exclusive digital DLC (downloadable content) to the PC game. Both the comic and game are available through the digital distribution platform, Steam.

In the story of Vanguard Princess Chapter 3 titled “No Extradition”, The Nayuta Corporation discovered that a mysterious girl possessed cosmic abilities. They held her captive and subjected her to cruel experiments.

The experiments caused a cosmic shockwave that enabled people within the organization to help her escape. This same cosmic shockwave gifted various girls with mystical powers. A girl possessing these powers are now referred to as a ‘Vanguard Princess’.

The Nayuta Corporation will not stop until they recapture the girl; even if it causes an international incident.

eigoMANGA Launches A Kickstarter Campaign To Publish the Oldman Graphic Novel

eigoMANGA has launched a Kickstarter campaign to publish Oldman as a manga graphic novel in English. Oldman is an award-winning and internationally acclaimed series created by Taiwanese writer and illustrator Chang Sheng. The publication was originally published by Taipei, Taiwan-based Tong Li Publishing.

The story is about a queen who rules her country with an iron fist. Unmarried and without an heir, she adopts orphans as a way to prove that even commoners can reign as kings. Yet, as the years progress, she shows no sign of aging, while her orphans go missing. Only one man knows the dark secret to her eternal youth: Oldman, a bearded magician the queen has locked in her dungeon.

One night, Oldman escapes his prison cell and rescues a neighboring prisoner, Rebecca, a rebel whose arms and legs were amputated as punishment. Upon taking Rebecca to an underground doctor who fits her with mechanical arms and legs, they vow to take revenge on the Queen that wronged them.

Oldman won numerous awards such as the International Manga Award in Japan, as well the Golden Comic Award for Best Shonen Manga. “Oldman” Part 1 is projected to circulate to retailers on November 8th, 2021.

eigoMANGA’s Kickstarter campaign will cover the printing, shipping, and distribution cost of releasing Oldman to retailers for its November 8th launch date.

eigoMANGA Will Publish The Video Game ‘Winter Ember’ As A Comic Book Series

eigoMANGA has announced that the company will publish a comic book based on an upcoming video game Winter Ember as an 8-part comic book series.

The Winter Ember video game is an immersive stealth action game. Set in a Victorian world, Winter Ember follows the story of Arthur Artorias, a faceless man in pursuit of answers and revenge. Winter Ember is produced by Blowfish Studios.

The story of the Winter Ember comic book series is set in the Victorian age in the fictional city of Anargal, featuring Arthur Artorias, a man stripped of his past, tortured, and forced to escape into isolation. Thought to be dead, he returns eight years later a changed man, disfigured, seeking answers and pursuing revenge.

Winter Ember is written by the acclaimed Kevin Grevioux, creator of the “Underworld” Series and “I-Frankenstein” film franchises. Grevioux is also a prolific comic book writer credited for works such as Marvel’s “Amazing Spider-Man”, “New Warriors”, “Young Avengers”, as well as DC’s “Cyborg”, Variant’s “Bloodshot” among others. The artwork is produced by Chris Awayan who has illustrated the “Indestructible” comic book series.

The Winter Ember comic book series is scheduled to be released tentatively in the Spring of 2022 to coincide with the game console release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.

eigoMANGA’s Comic-Con@Home Panel Will Feature NBA Star, De’Aaron Fox

eigoMANGA has announced a virtual panel for Comic-Con International‘s Comic-Con@Home which features NBA point guard for the Sacramento Kings, De’Aaron Fox. Comic-Con@Home is an online event that will combine aspects of the convention experience with the comforts of home. eigoMANGA’s panel with De’Aaron Fox will stream on Comic-Con International’s official website and YouTube channel scheduled on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 1:00 pm (GMT-07:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada).

eigoMANGA will also host a virtual booth through Comic-Con@Home’s official website, where fans will be able to access information on upcoming releases, announcements, and purchase exclusive merchandise.

eigoMANGA’s Publisher, Austin Osueke moderates a panel with De’Aaron Fox along with his agent, Chris Gaston, and writer Natashia McGough Clarke (EdD). Together they discuss Fox’s fandom for anime, manga, and how it intertwines with his basketball career. Pro basketball manager turned comic writer, Andy Ikeakor also discusses the fundamentals of writing comic books centered around sports. This panel will also discuss De’Aaron Fox’s upcoming manga-influenced comic book produced and published by eigoMANGA called Swipa The Fox.

The Swipa The Fox comic book is about De’Aaron Fox accidentally venturing into a basketball video game while his video game counterpart causes havoc in the real world. De’Aaron has to harness all of his world-class basketball skills to play his way out of the digital game and return to reality.

eigoMANGA Will Participate At Anime Expo Lite 2021

Comic book publisher, eigoMANGA has announced its participation at Anime Expo Lite 2021. Anime Expo Lite is the digital version of Anime Expo (AX), the largest celebration of Japanese pop culture in North America. Anime Expo Lite’s virtual event dates will be July 3-4, 2021. Content from those dates plus more will be available to watch on-demand from July 5 through July 16, 2021. eigoMANGA will host two virtual panels that will showcase their latest production of comics, animation, games, and mobile apps.

First, eigoMANGA’s creative team will meet with NBA point guard for the Sacramento Kings, De’Aaron Fox. They discuss De’Aaron’s fandom for anime, manga, and how it intertwines with his basketball career. “De’Aaron Fox: NBA Star and Anime Fan” will be available to watch on-demand from July 5 through July 16.

And second, eigoMANGA creators will hold a tutorial workshop to teach the fundamentals of manga illustration. “eigoMANGA’s How To Draw Manga” will be available to watch on-demand on July 5 through July 16.

eigoMANGA Will Publish “Oldman” Graphic Novel

eigoMANGA has acquired the rights to adapt and publish Oldman as a multi-volume graphic novel manga series in English. Oldman is an award-winning and internationally acclaimed series created by Taiwanese writer and illustrator Chang Sheng. The publication was originally published by Taipei, Taiwan-based Tongli Publishing.

NBA Star De’Aaron Fox and eigoMANGA Team Up To for Swipa the Fox

eigoMANGA has announced that the company will publish a manga-influenced comic book with NBA point guard for the Sacramento Kings, De’Aaron Fox.

Together, eigoMANGA, De’Aaron Fox, and his agency Family First Sports Firm will create and publish the comic book Swipa The Fox. The comic is written by Natashia McGough Clarke (EdD) and Nnamdi Ikeakor. The artwork is produced by Harrier Studio.

The story starts off with De’Aaron partnering with a video game company to develop his first basketball video game. He wears an experimental motion capture suit and a VR head-set to play-test the game. While playing, an accident causes him to transport into the game. He has to harness all of his world-class basketball skills to play his way out of the digital game and return to the real world.

Conversely, the video game’s version of De’Aaron has switched bodies with the real De’Aaron Fox; he is living lavishly in the real world unbeknownst to De’Aaron’s family, friends, and teammates.

The first installment of Swipa The Fox is slated to be released in the Summer of 2021.

eigoMANGA has launched a Kickstarter campaign to publish and release the original English manga Somnia to bookstores. Somnia is created by two time Amazon best-selling author, Brandon Chen, a prolific author of fiction novels such as Ghost Wolf, God of War: Ares, and Age of Darkness. The manga is illustrated by rising manga artist, Mohammad Umair Ali.

Somnia tells the story of Ren, a teenager who receives a mystic lantern that makes his dreams become reality; starting when he accidentally brought Jubei, a cyborg-samurai, to life. With his unique companion, Ren is thrust into an ongoing war between fellow Dream-Walkers and monsters that are forged from the dreams of sleepers. These monsters grow stronger by feeding on the nightmares of their victims. Follow Ren’s battle against the nightmares that plague our darkest dreams.

Be careful of what you dream of, it just might come true.

The Kickstarter campaign covers the printing, shipping, and distribution cost of releasing the “SOMNIA” trade paperback to bookstore. Somnia is projected to be released to bookstores on April 28, 2021.

You can get a digital edition for chapters 1 and 2 for $10, the print copy of the first chapter for $20, and a trade for $60. Other pledges include variant covers, autographs, and more. The campaign ends on March 7.

eigoMANGA Releases “First Squad – The Moment of Truth” Manga Graphic Novel

eigoMANGA has announced that the company has released the manga First Squad – The Moment of Truth. First Squad – The Moment of Truth was adapted into a 2009 award-winning anime feature film produced by Studio 4°C and directed by Yoshiharu Ashino.

The story is set in the opening days of World War II on the Eastern Front and centers around a Soviet teenager who possesses supernatural abilities to commune with the dead. Nadya has been recruited by the Red Army to fight the invading German army and is tasked to journey into the spiritual realm of the dead.

There Nadya must recruit her fallen comrades and form the First Squad in order to oppose the evil Baron Von Wolff, who is raised from the dead by the Nazis, and his occult army of 12th century Crusaders. The First Squad and Crusaders engage in a spiritual battle known as the “Moment of Truth”.
