DC Fandome Includes DC Kids Fandome. See what’s For Kids!

DC FanDome was a family affair, with the youngest DC fans kicking off the day with their own special experience in DC Kids FanDome. With Robin and the Teen Titans as their guide, alongside special co-host Nandi Bushell, kids and their parents explored the DC Multiverse and caught sneak peeks and exclusive reveals for upcoming DC animated shows, movies, video games and more. Select portions of DC Kids FanDome are now available to stream on demand on HBO Max, the DC Kids YouTube channel and Roblox. A summary of first looks and breaking news items from this year’s DC Kids FanDome can be found below along with asset download links.

  • Aquaman: King of Atlantis – Making a splash at DC Kids FanDome was an exclusive sneak peek clip from the second episode (“Chapter Two: Primordeus”) of the new animated mini-series event airing Thursday, October 21 on HBO Max. “Talking to the Fish” from the Aquaman: King of Atlantis Soundtrack is available to stream or purchase here. 
  • Batwheels – Series stars Jacob Bertrand (Cobra Kai) and AJ Hudson (The Good Place) provided a sneak peek at the upcoming preschool animated action-adventure comedy series featuring the most heroic and iconic vehicles from the DC universe. Batwheels will be coming to Cartoonito on HBO Max and Cartoon Network in 2022 but fans can get started on the action now by customizing their own unique Batwheels vehicle at the “Batwheels By You” Digital Experience. 
  • DC League of Super-Pets – Krypto the Super-Dog, Ace the hound and a rag-tag shelter pack of Super-Pets are coming to the big screen in May 2022.
  • DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace – From Outright Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, suit up as super-dogs Krypto and Ace and soar through the streets of Metropolis, in a bot smashing, action-packed DC Super-Pets adventure!
  • DC Super Hero Girls – The Joker makes his highly anticipated debut this season and DC Kids FanDome gave a sneak peek at the Clown Prince of Crime’s episode before it premieres on Cartoon Network on Sunday, 10/24 at 8:00 AM ET/PT. Music from season 2 of the animated series: DC Superhero Girls is available to stream or purchase here. 
  • DC Batman: Bat-Tech Edition app – Introducing the all-new Bat-Tech Batcave, the world’s first fully Augmented Reality experience launching exclusively at DC Kids FanDome. Through the DC Batman: Bat-Tech Edition App, players are transported into a subterranean Batcave where they can experience Batman’s secret headquarters brought to life through Augmented Reality. Players can teleport throughout the Batcave and learn about all of Batman’s technology. Available for free on the Apple Store and the Google Play store.
  • Teen Titans Go! Seasons 1-6 Available on HBO Max – For the first time ever, Seasons 1-6 of the longest running animated show in DC history are now available on HBO Max.
  • Teen Titans Go! and DC Super Hero Girls crossover movie – First look at the upcoming movie event coming to Cartoon Network in 2022.
  • Teen Titans Go! / Doom Patrol – First look at the Teen Titans Go! half-hour special featuring the Doom Patrol coming later this year on Cartoon Network.
  • Teen Titans Go! / Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary – Capping off the livestream, fans were treated to a brand new never-before-seen episode of Teen Titans Go! in honor of Wonder Woman’s 80th Anniversary.

DC Reveals Cover of Dear Super-Villains Graphic Novel and a Surprise for DC Kids FanDome

DC has revealed the cover for the highly anticipated Dear Super-Villains middle grade graphic novel by author Michael Northrop and artist Gustavo Duarte. Dear Super-Villains is the sequel to Michael Northrop and Gustavo Duarte’s smash hit Dear Justice League that debuted in 2019 and is perfect for readers 8-12.

While Dear Justice League featured the world’s greatest Super Heroes answering fan mail from young fans, Dear Super-Villains features the Legion of Doom answering questions from curious kids.

Fans wanting to gear up for the sequel can tune into DC Kids FanDome at DCkidsfandome.com on September 12 where the entire Dear Justice League graphic novel will be available to read for free via the DC Kids comics reader for 24 hours only.

Peek inside the lives of DC’s infamous rogues in DEAR SUPER-VILLAINS, the sequel to DEAR JUSTICE LEAGUE, where curious kids write to notorious scoundrels, asking them about life on the dark side.

How did Gorilla Grodd get so smart? Did Harley Quinn ever try a career in comedy? Why does Catwoman always lose to Batman? 

Each chapter highlights members of the Legion of Doom in a sympathetic way that is relatable to kids. But look closely and you may notice the baddies are up to something big! Will the Justice League show up in time to stop them? You’ll have to write in to the Tip-line of Evil to find out!

Dear Super-Villains is written by Michael Northrop with art by Gustavo Duarte, lettering by Wes Abbott, and colors by Cris Peter. It goes on sale April 6, 2021.
