Written by Eisner-nominated Frédéric Brrémaud and illustrated by Vic Macioci, with colors by Maggie, letters by Cromatik Ltd, and translated by Montana Kane, this 176-page graphic novel moves through historical tension with a sharp, fast-paced noir edge. Travel abroad for a murder mystery with I Am Their Silence

Dark Horse Books presents I Am Their Silence, a new murder mystery graphic novel from Eisner Award-nominated cartoonist Jordi Lafebre. Written and illustrated by Lafebre, lettered by Cromatik, Ltd., and translated by Montana Kane, this story tackles themes of mental health, trauma, and the complexities of family dynamics.

Eva is a brilliant psychiatrist, but when she finds the Monturos family patriarch dead the night before a party discussing the family’s future and their wine-making empire, Eva is catapulted into a web of intrigue and deception. With her name on the suspect list, Eva transforms into an amateur sleuth out of obsession more than self-defense.

Guided by the voices of her dead relatives, who seem to haunt her wherever she goes, Eva journeys through Barcelona to uncover the real killer, all while dealing with the Monturos family’s trouble and, seemingly, her own.
