Spider-Man, Venom, and Carnage are Caught in the Spiral in Death Spiral #1 Variant Covers

A new super-powered serial killer makes a murderous debut next year,sending Spider-Man, Venom, and Carnage into a DEATH SPIRAL!

Announced last month, Amazing Spider-Man/Venom: Death Spiral spins out of Amazing Spider-Man, Venom, and Eddie Brock: Carnage, kicking off in Amazing Spider-Man/Venom: Death Spiral #1 next month and continuing in issues of Amazing Spider-Man and Venom through April. The crossover will written by three of today’s acclaimed Spider-Man and symbiote storytellers—Joe Kelly, Al Ewing, and Charles Soule—and feature artwork by Ed McGuinness, Carlos Gómez, and Jesús Saíz. Fans can check out new Amazing Spider-Man/Venom: Death Spiral #1 variant covers, spotlighting the core trio of characters and drawn by best-selling cover artists Stonehouse, Dave Rapoza, and Skan.

SPIDER-MAN returns to Earth just in time to face CARNAGE, who’s just discovered Spider-Man’s secret identity in the mind of his newest host, EDDIE BROCK! When Spider-Man and Venom team up against the killer symbiote, another shocking secret is revealed as PETER PARKER discovers that MARY JANE is the ALL-NEW VENOM! It’s a collision course of drama and danger that explodes with the arrival of TORMENT, a mysterious serial killer who will connect all three of them in a web of death. NYCC 2025: Amazing Spider-Man/Venom Death Spiral Revealed!

Revealed at the “Marvel Comics: Spider-Man and his Venomous Friends Panel” at New York Comic Con, “Death Spiral,” a new crossover saga spinning out of Amazing Spider-Man, Venom, and Eddie Brock: Carnage, kicks off this February. The event begins in Amazing Spider-Man/Venom: Death Spiral #1, a special one-shot, and continues in issues of Amazing Spider-Man and Venom through April.

“Death Spiral” will be written by three of today’s acclaimed Spider-Man and symbiote storytellers—Joe Kelly, Al Ewing, and Charles Soule—and feature artwork by Ed McGuinness, Carlos Gómez, and Jesús Saíz. During the panel, Ewing, Kelly and Soule, along with Executive Editor Nick Lowe, Senior Editor Jordan D. White, and Editor in Chief C.B. Cebulski, discussed recent developments, including Spider-Man’s cosmic adventures, Mary Jane becoming Venom, and Eddie Brock’s bonding with Carnage, and explained how it all leads into this terrifying saga that introduces TORMENT, a twisted new supervillain who targets Peter Parker and all those connected to him, putting Spider-Man, Venom and Carnage on a violent collision course that not everyone involved will survive!

But fear not, the KING IN BLACK will escape to reclaim his throne this January in Knull, a five-issue limited series written by Al Ewing and Tom Waltz and drawn by Juanan Ramirez.
