Sitwell – China… well, let’s see… it’s essentially operating with a two class system that was erected under a socialist regime, but is now propped up by a neo-capitalist economic class. It’s also burdened by overpopulation and a rapidly growing senior class which is poised to undo much of the financial growth achieved in recent years. In my opinion, the situation is somewhat precarious… sketchy.
We’re back with a new entry for our Friday Fun series looking at politically charged historical comic books. We felt today’s was appropriate considering the hysteria and fear that America is turning towards Socialism.
America Under Socialism! was produced in 1950 and only around 10 or so copies are known to still be in existence. It warns how great societies have collapsed under Socialism, like Rome and also warns Britain will collapse as well. The issue here is being Britain seems to be going strong about 60 years after this comic was published.
We’re of course warned of medical services for all, the dangers of minimum wages and strikes, and that Capitalists are the enemy. Very humorous seeing where deregulation has gotten us over this past decade or so.

Huntress – Yeah. She’s the first woman with a real shot at the White House.
Black Canary -My vote’s too important to waste on an “it’s our time” symbolic gesture. We aren’t electing a role model. We’re electing a national leader. And believe me, Davis Brewster is the leader we need right now. Period.
