Brenden Fletcher Joins Robotech

Titan Comics has announced writer Brenden Fletcherwill be joining the superstar Robotech comics team of Simon Furman and Hendry Prasetya on the deck of the SDF-1 for continuing Robotech adventures – based on the legendary ‘80s sci-fi animation by Harmony Gold.

Kicking off with a special primer issue on Free Comic Book Day 2019 (Saturday May 4, 2019), fans can expect this special edition to shine a spotlight on unseen events and major hints of things to come, as the Robotech series charges up for an all-new spectacular storyline called Event Horizon.

Robotech joins Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor as the second of Titan’s two Free Comic Book Day offerings.

Isola recruits more readers in the quest to save Queen Olwyn

Image Comics has announced that the first and second issues of the new hit fantasy series Isola—from acclaimed writer Brenden Fletcher and Eisner-winning storyteller and artist Karl Kerschl—are being rushed back to print in order to meet customer demand.

Queen Olwyn, suffering under the effects of a terrible spell, has fled her kingdom’s capital city with only her loyal Captain of the Royal Guard, Rook, for company—and for protection. With their supplies dwindling and their steps hounded by ruthless hunting clans, Rook leads her queen down a road fraught with peril…but it’s a road they must walk if they’re to restore Olwyn to the throne.

Isola #1, 3rd printing (Diamond code: APR188160) and Isola #2, 2nd printing (Diamond code: APR188161) will hit stores Wednesday, June 13th. The final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, May 21st.

Isola #1 Gets a Second Printing

Image Comics has announced that the debut issue of Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl’s luminous fantasy series Isola is being rushed back to print in order to keep up with overwhelming customer demand.

Rook, the captain of the Royal Guard, has fled the capital of the kingdom of Maar with Queen Olwyn, who suffers under the effects of a terrible spell. As the kingdom inches every closer to the brink of war, their only hope of restoring Olwyn to the throne lies in the mythical land of Isola—also known as the land of the dead.

Isola #1, 2nd printing (Diamond code: FEB188844), as well as Isola #2 Cover A (Diamond code: MAR180705) and Cover B (Diamond code: JAN188893), will hit comic book stores Wednesday, May 9th. The final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, April 16th.

Isola #1 Gets a Variant by Karl Kerschel and Msassyk

Image Comics has revealed an all-new variant cover of the debut issue of Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl’s Isola provided by series artists Kerschl and Msassyk. Each issue of this lush fantasy series will boast a Cover A and a Cover B, featuring art from the series artists.

Gotham Academy alums Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl reunite for ISOLA

The captain of the Royal Guard has fled the capital city with the Queen of Maar, suffering under the effects of an evil spell. Captain Rook’s only hope of returning Queen Olwyn to her throne and saving the kingdom from impending war lies on an island half a world away—a place known in myth as Isola, land of the dead.

Black Canary Releases a Second EP

“From Gotham to Apokolips, songs for broken gods and superwomen.”

In March 2016 Black Canary dropped a 3-track EP via Bandcamp, a great marketing tie-in and something fun for fans of comics and quality music.

Today, a second 3-track EP dropped with three all-new songs for fans of the band to enjoy (and listen to while reading the comics featuring the band). The new EP helps celebrate 70 years of the character.

EP2 features three new songs, “Get in The Car,” “Lost Art,” and “Last Days,” all can be bought as a track or the whole album for $3.50.

The release is the combined awesome of Black Canary writer Brenden Fletcher along with Michelle Bensimon, Joseph Donovan, Ryan Morey, and m van ark. The cover art is by Annie Wu.
