Skybound has released a first look at Arcade Kings #5, the epic finale of the prestige series by creator/writer/artist Dylan Burnett, and colorists Walter Baiamonte and Sara Antonellini. The final round of this action-packed comic full of fists, family, and video-game infused fighting arrives in comic book shops November 15, 2023. 

After last issue’s jaw-dropping ending, Victor McMax’s master plan stands revealed. Since hanging up his gloves, Victor has focused on wrapping his hands around Infinity City, but who remains to take him down in a flawless victory? 

Arcade Kings #5 will feature main cover art from series artist and colorist Dylan Burnett and Walter Baiamonte, along with an open to order variant from Tri Vuong. The series will also feature a 1:10 “Fighting Game” Incentive Variant program by Jordan Gibson and a 1:15 “Limited Color” Incentive Variant program featuring the main cover inks by Dylan Burnett.

Your First Look At Dylan Burnett’s Prestige Comic Arcade Kings #4

Skybound has debuted a striking first look at Arcade Kings #4, the upcoming issue of the prestige series by creator/writer/artist Dylan Burnett, and colorists Walter Baiamonte and Sara Antonellini. This action-packed, retro-themed comic will arrive in comic book shops August 30, 2023.  

Joe’s search for his missing brother is over, but now the real battle begins. Ken has leveled up since he last saw Joe and ready to throw down. It’s a brother vs. brother matchup to see who’s strongest!

Round Three of Dylan Burnett’s Arcade Kings arrives July 17th

Skybound has released a look at Arcade Kings #3, the action-packed comic full of fists, family, and video-game infused fighting. The third issue of this prestige series by creator/writer/artist Dylan Burnett, colorists Walter Baiamonte and Sara Antonellini, and letterer AndWorld Design hits comic book stores on July 17, 2023. 

Unable to match his brother Joe’s power and skills, Ken discovered a new place to train: The Row, home to the most highly competitive arcades in Infinity City. But when Victor McMax’s bid to take over the entire city brings his high-powered goons to the Row, Ken has no choice but to protect his new home—and put his fists to work.

Dylan Burnett’s World of Fists, Family, and Video Games Returns For Arcade Kings #2

Skybound has released an exciting first look at Arcade Kings #2, the second issue of the new prestige series by creator/writer/artist Dylan Burnett, colorists Walter Baiamonte and Sara Antonellini, and lettering by AndWorld Design. This action-packed comic is sure to leave readers everywhere speechless when it hits comic book stores on June 21, 2023.  

Following the knockout debut issue, Joe’s search for his missing brother brings him to the ghost town of Rockview. Too bad it’s the home turf of Plum Khurana, who has a bone to pick with Joe’s entire family!

Wednesdays (and Tuesdays) are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find out what folks think below, and what comics you should be looking out for this week.

Arcade Kings #1 (Skybound/Image Comics) – This throwback to the arcades of old has us excited to revisit the type of place we spent a lot of time in.

Avengers #1 (Marvel) – It’s a new creative team and a new Avengers team and after the massive run and epic before, we’re interested in the fresh and new start.

Batman: Brave and the Bold #1 (DC Comics) – This anthology sounds exciting and lets be honest, the title has a lot of prestige about it.

Cyborg #1 (DC Comics) – It’s a new status quo for the character that sends him home. In such an odd age of technology in the real world, how will this series stand out?

Danny Ketch: Ghost Rider #1 (Marvel) – Danny was the Ghost Rider we grew up with so we want to see what this series has for us in nostalgia factor.

Dark Ride #6 (Skybound/Image Comics) – This has been a great horror series and we’re sucked in more and more into the weirdness.

Dark Spaces: Good Deeds #1 (IDW Publishing) – The first “Dark Spaces” anthology was solid. This new story focuses on a supernatural conspiracy that may expose a town’s historical sins.

Disney Villains: Maleficent #1 (Dynamite) – The Scar villains series has been great so far, so we’re absolutely excited to see more of what Dynamite does with Disney’s characters. So far, so good!

Fear of a Red Planet #4 (AfterShock) – The series has been a solid sci-fi detective series and we’re sucked in and want to know who did it!

The Gimmick #3 (AHOY Comics) – The series is an interesting mix of wrestling and super powers that has us sucked in.

Guardians of the Galaxy #2 (Marvel) – The first issue was a hell of a new direction and we want to explore more of it. What the hell is Grootfall!?

Hulk Annual #1 (Marvel) – Found footage horror mixed with the Hulk? How has this idea not been done before!?

Jinx: Cursed Life (Archie Comics/Archie Horror) – Archie has done a hell of a job with their horror line, so any new entry has us excited to see what they’re up to.

Mighty Barbarians #2 (Ablaze) – The first issue was solid mixing classic fantasy with a bit of a more modern comic style.

Titans #1 (DC Comics) – With the Justice League sidelined, we want to see how this team stands up in their absence.

The Vigil #1 (DC Comics) – We don’t know a ton about this series and its characters but we’re always intrigued by new characters.
