Silver Samurai and Mr. Knight

2025 SUMMONER’S CHOICE CHAMPION JOINS THE BATTLEREALM

The players have spoken and with the power of their vote, MR. KNIGHT is entering The Contest this September and is joined by mutant SILVER SAMURAI! Players will have the opportunity to obtain Silver Samurai on September 11, and Mr. Knight on September 25. What shadows and steel will they bring to The Battlerealm?

Mr. Knight (Summoner’s Choice Winner)

There is a time for a clenched fist and time for a helping hand. When Moon Knight wants to add nuance to his crime-fighting he takes on the persona of Mr. Knight. This gentleman detective can talk his way out of trouble, but is no stranger to rolling up his sleeves for more intensive interrogations.

Silver Samurai

Kenuichio Harada is the mutant son of former Japanese crimelord Shingen Yashida, the head of the influential Clan Yashida in Japan. Harada has mastered the disciplines of the Samurai, with his mutant powers granting him the ability to generate energy from within himself, and transfer said energy through inanimate objects. He uses this gift to empower his sacred Katana, allowing it to cut through nearly anything. Now, like his father, he seeks to run his own criminal underworld.

Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, DC, and LEGO announce LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, DC, and the LEGO Group have announced LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a brand-new action-adventure videogame inviting players to embark on an epic journey to become the hero of Gotham City, inspired by the 86-year history of Batman films, television shows, comics, and games, all combined with the TT Games’ legendary LEGO humor.

Developed by TT Games, creators of the best-selling LEGO Games franchise, including the critically acclaimed LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and published by Warner Bros. Games, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will release in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 system, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Wishlisting for the game begins today.

The adventure begins with the origins of Batman as a young Bruce Wayne trains with The League of Shadows, and throughout the story-led campaign, players will build a family of allies with well-known characters including Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul to help confront an ever-growing threat from a Rogues Gallery of DC Super-Villains, facing the likes of The Joker, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Ra’s al Ghul, Bane, and more.

With a dynamic new LEGO Batman combat system that encapsulates the Caped Crusader’s distinctive fighting style, every hit packs a punch, with fluid attack chains, counters, and over-the-top takedowns. Whether playing as Batman solo or in the two-player local cooperative mode, players can use iconic Bat-gadgets such as Batarangs to distract or stun enemies and the Batclaw to reel them in. Partner characters have their own signature gear, including Jim Gordon’s foam sprayer, Robin’s line launcher, and Catwoman’s whip, providing a variety of options to approach every enemy encounter and boss battle. For those looking for a tougher playthrough, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight goes beyond the familiar LEGO game experience with the new Caped Crusader enhanced difficulty setting and an even more challenging Dark Knight difficulty level.

The gametakes place against the backdrop of Gotham City, an open-world LEGO playground full of crimes to stop, puzzles to solve, rewards to collect, and surprises to discover around every corner, down every alleyway, and on every rooftop. Players can grapple, glide, or drive through the environment, zipping from building to building with Batman’s grapple launcher, soaring over the city with the Batglider, or cruising around in stylewith a range of Batmobiles and Batcycles. The Batcave can also be customized to display vehicles, trophies, and collectibles, plus an assortment of wearable Batsuits based on past Batman related media.

Players can unlock the Golden Age Batsuit inspired by Detective Comics #27 (1939) by signing up for a WB Games account.

MicroMacro Launches as a Smartphone App

MicroMacro: Downtown Detective

With its unique blend of hidden object visuals in a charming cartoon style and cleverly constructed detective cases, the board game series MicroMacro: Crime City has become a major success. Winner of awards including Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year), the popular series has now made its way to smartphones: the new mobile game MicroMacro: Downtown Detective is available for iOS and Android via the App Store and Google Play Store. It launches in English and German, with more languages to follow, such as Spanish and French.

Just like the board games, MicroMacro: Downtown Detective combines hidden-object gameplay and detective work to create a distinctive gaming experience. Players investigate crime scenes, collect clues, and track suspects in order to solve countless crimes across a sprawling comic-style city.

While MicroMacro: Downtown Detective is an adaptation of the iconic and award-winning boardgame-series MicroMacro: Crime City, it comes with a whole new set of cases and game mechanics, turning the cooperative boardgame into an approachable yet suspense-driven mobile solo adventure.

The app was developed by the studio Softboiled Games, based in Düsseldorf-Bilk, Germany. The studio emerged from the creative collective Hard Boiled Games—the team behind the original MicroMacro board games.
