From behind-the-scenes insights to major reveals and highly anticipated premieres, attendees can fall deeper in love with their favorite anime and get a look at what’s coming next. 

HUGE ANIME NEWS 

Save the date! The Crunchyroll Showcase on Thursday, October 8 at 3:30 PM in Room 405 will outline what is next for the exciting world of anime fandom. Fans can grab a seat to see newly announced anime, sneak peeks, world premiere trailers and more. 

BEHIND THE SCENES WITH THE BIGGEST PREMIERES THIS OCTOBER

Throughout the weekend, Crunchyroll is bringing fans closer to the biggest anime premiering in October with massive panels featuring beloved talent.

Fans can go behind-the-mysteries of The Apothecary Diaries on Friday, October 9 at 12:15 PM in Room 409 with the Japanese voices of Maomao (Aoi Yuki) and Jinshi (Takeo Otsuka) where the fan-favorite pair will recreate beloved scenes and share their experiences bringing the hit series to life. 

Additionally, Black Clover returns after nearly five years! Those that want to experience the return alongside their fellow fans can check out the Black Clover Season 2 Special Screening on Saturday, October 10 at 12:45PM on the Empire Stage. The screening will feature behind-the-scenes stories and a live dub session with the Japanese (Gakuto Kajiwara) and English (Dallas Reid) voices of Asta.

CELEBRATING THE BEST OF THE YEAR

Crunchyroll is also letting fans continue their journey with two of the biggest anime to hit streaming this past year. 

Breakout hit Sentenced to be a Hero takes to Room 405 on Friday, October 9 at 6:30 PM with a talent lineup so good it should be criminal. Original Author Rocket Shokai and Original Illustrator Mephisto will join the Japanese voices of Xylo (Yohei Azakami) and Teoritta (Mayu Iizuka) to walk fans through the page-to-screen process.

One of the hottest titles of summer burns on! BLACK TORCH is headed to the Empire Stage on Sunday, October 11 at 12:00 PM with English Voices of Jiro Azuma (AJ Beckles) and Rago (Keith Silverstein). Join the dynamic duo to look back on the action, laughs and standout moments.

New York Comic Con also marks the one year since the launch of Crunchyroll Manga, the app that gives fans a single destination to read and discover manga from leading publishers. Just across the way at Booth #1643, readers can grab a tablet and kick back with a massive catalog of titles that has doubled in size since last year.
