Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

Absolute Batman #21 (DC Comics) – While the series has lately over promised and under-delivered, it’s still been intriguing to see how it’s twisting around familiar characters and concepts.

Absolute Green Arrow #2 (DC Comics) – The first issue was fantastic that left us guessing as to what direction it was going as Dinah Lance has to deal with a killer that looks a lot like the familiar Green Arrow.

Concrete Stars Over Sand #1 (Dark Horse) – Concrete has entered the desert and not come back. Larry and Maureen are frantic. Reports come that he is wandering the nearby arid mountains, covered with blood, attacking people. Concrete, lightning-struck, confused, roams a frightening world he can’t understand. Roars tear across the sky. A strange globe rises. His body is sheathed in stone. He thinks he is being hunted. People are a threat.

Excommunicated #2 (Vault Comics) – The first issue was solid teasing a story about a nun kicked out of her job and a demon who hasn’t quite been banished.

G.I. Joe #23 (Skybound) – Crystal Ball. Nuff said.

If Destruction Be Our Lot #2 (Image Comics) – After the robot cops finally nab him, animatronic ABE gets hauled to the factory for a little “maintenance.” But if he keeps yapping about humans, there ain’t gonna be enough of him left to fix.

Jungle Juice Volume 7 (IZE Press) – If you’re looking for an X-Men alternative, this series is fantastic that delivers familiar concepts with human/bug hybrids.

Land Of Never #1 (Mad Cave Studios) – A new twist on the classic Peter Pan.

Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom Volume 9 (IZE Press) – The series has been fantastic with a twist on the traditional fairy tale Snow White. It’s now twisted things up a bit with introducing its version of the Little Mermaid.

Star Trek The Last Starship #8 (IDW Publishing) – The series has been fantastic with a storyline that is somehow both darker than the general Star Trek but also delivering the expected hope for a better and brighter future.

Transformers Worst Bot Ever Bot Swap (Skybound) – We loved the first volume that delivered a more comedic twist on Transformers perfect for all-ages.
