Graphic Policy’s Top Comic Picks this Week!
Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in
Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!
Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for
A Quiet Place Storm Warning #2 (IDW Publishing) – You don’t need to know the films to appreciate this series which feels more about failure of leadership than anything else.
Batman/Wonder Woman Truth #1 (DC Comics) – Someone has stolen the Lasso of Truth and Batman and Wonder Woman need to team up to get it back.
Exorcism At Buckingham Palace #2 (IDW Publishing) – Some solid horror involving the next King of England.
Feral #22 (Image Comics) – The series has been solid and the previous issue set off in a new direction and a surprising crossover.
Is Ted Ok #3 (Mad Cave Studios) – The series has been weird corporate paranoia that feels trippy and twisted in a good way.
Justice League Intergalactic Special #1 (DC Comics) – This sounds like it might be an important issue for the next chapter of DC’s meta “All In” storyline.
Killer Affairs Of The State II (BOOM! Studios/Archaia) – The Killer is hired to take out a pedo ring while debating who really gets justice in this world.
Red Roots #1 (Image Comics) – The lives of a professional killer and a high school teacher are bound by a terrifying, mysterious force.
Swamp Thing 1989 #1 (DC Comics/DC Black Label) – The infamous “banned” storyline is finally seeing print!
Wonder Man #2 (Marvel) – The first issue was an intriguing one and delivered what felt like more of a noir/detective tale than the superhero skewering of Hollywood we expected.
Wrestle Heist #5 (Image Comics) – The series has been a fun heist story featuring both deep comments about the wrestling business but also enjoyment at the surface level.
Zatanna (2026) #1 (DC Comics) – The last Zatanna series was solid with some great storytelling and art and we’re expecting more of the same.
