Graphic Policy’s Top Comic Picks this Week!

Speed Racer #5

Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

Absolute Green Lantern #9 (DC Comics) – The series has been an interesting spin on the classic Green Lantern mythos and we’re intrigued to see where this all goes.

G.I. Joe #15 (Image Comics/Skybound) – The “Dreadnock War” continues and so far it’s been a hell of a lot of fun seeing Duke and Cobra Commander teaming up to survive.

Giant Size Criminal #1 (Image Comics) – More Criminal is a good thing!

Murder Podcast #3 (Ignition Press) – The series about a podcast that causes people to kill has been fascinating and we’re sucked in wanting to know what exactly is going on.

Save Now #2 (Bad Idea) – The first issue was solid with a superhero who could go back a relive time but no matter what he does, he can’t change an apocalyptic future.

Speed Racer #5 (Mad Cave Studios) – The series has been a lot of fun so far, a solid update to the classic property that does a great job of recreating the episodic nature of the television show in being able to enjoy just one or appreciate the bigger story.

Terminator: Santa Claus Is Coming To Town #1 (Dynamite) – We have no idea if it’s in this comic but we really want to see the Terminator vs. Santa. No idea why but it seems like silly fun.

Ultimate Universe: Two Years In #1 (Marvel) – The Ultimate Universe is “ending” in a few months (we’re not convinced it is) so we’re fascinated to see what this has in store for what’s coming.

Wiccan: Witches’ Road #1 (Marvel) – Marvel’s magic corner of its universe is having a shake up right now and we’re positive this series is going to have something key coming out of it.
