One of the more intriguing movies being worked on by DC Studios is Clayface, a movie based on the tragic Batman villain. Toms Rhys Harries has been cast in the main role. Toms Rhys Harries is a relatively fresh face with a mix of film and television.

The film will be directed by James Watkins, who most recently directed Speak No Evil and looks to have dipped his toes a lot in the horror genre.

There’s been numerous takes on Clayface but the character debuted in Detective Comics #40 in June 1940 and was originally created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane. The character generally is a moderately successful actor and the most well know depiction has him suffering a physical change where his body can morph like it was made out of clay who initially takes revenge against those in the movie industry before turning to a broader life of crime.
