With this strategic acquisition, Devir reinforces its promise to expand and diversify the Spanish language board game sector, seeking to maintain continuity and boost the sales of the Maldito Games brand, which contains over 300 titles and specializes in advanced and expert level games.

Through this unification, the Devir group grows to over 600 active titles in its catalog, the largest number of Spanish language games in the market, making itthe industry leader in Spain and Latin America both in quantity and quality.

Devir will maintain the Maldito Games brand, enriching its portfolio with acclaimed successes such as Terraforming Mars, Brass Birmingham, Tainted Grail, and Anachrony, as well as accessible hits such as Wingspan, Cubirds, and Dice Hospital. These titles are not only widely recognized for their quality and production but are also favorites among board game enthusiasts.

Maldito Games’ integration into Devir will allow it to expand its horizons especially in the Latin American market, representing a key growth opportunity.

From its newly opened offices in Barcelona, Devir has decided to continue with both brands, Devir and Maldito Games, to allow each to grow and develop its own identity. This strategy reflects the desire to diversify its offerings and feed different segments of the market.
