Graphic Policy’s Top Comic Picks this Week!
Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in
Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!
Find out what folks think below, and what comics you should be looking out for this week.
Avengers Assemble #1 (Marvel) – After Blood Hunt, we’re intrigued to see where the Avengers go and this team is one of the next steps for what comes next.
DC vs. Vampires: World War V #2 (DC Comics/Elseworlds) – The series has been fun so far with Damian threatening the uneasy truce between humans and vampires by running an insurgency.
Pedestrian #2 (Maga Comix) – The first issue was weird. But, it’s our kind of weird and we want to see where this goes.
Space Ghost #5 (Dynamite Entertainment) – The series has been fantastic taking the classic character and delivering a new take with a bit of retro elements. Some of the best galactic superhero sci-fi out there right now.
Star Wars #50 (Marvel) – The end of one era as we move towards the next.
Summer Shadows #1 (Dark Horse) – Individuals are vanishing on the Greek island of Avraxos. We’re always up for a good mystery.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #2 (IDW Publishing) – The first issue was a different take on the Turtles and the second shines the spotlight on another member of the group. It’s a new era!
Transformers #12 (Skybound) – The end of the second arc and it’s a doozy. The series has been keeping Transformers fans on their toes and this issue is full of shocking moments.
Wolverine #1 (Marvel) – Wolverine is back to being in the wilderness and grumpy. He’s dealing with the fall out of Krakoa and we’re intrigued to see what happens.
