Para-Bellum is building the hype for the release of the Mahut and Dhanur Disciples for the tabletop miniature game Conquest. Coming for the Sorcerer Kings faction, the game’s 8th and newest, the model looks impressive!

The mighty Mahut – a much-anticipated entry of war-elephants that promise doom to the enemies of the Sorcerer Kings. And if you picture some arrow ridden beasts, as they crash to the doom of themselves and their riders, think again; these mighty beasts are all constructs, perfect replicas of the beloved steed of Hormus, Who Lays Mountains Low, himself, brought to life through his unparalleled sorcery. With rules like Hardened, Brutal Impact, Linebreaker and Trample, these devastating Monster regiments are bound to wreak havoc upon enemy lines. The Mahut includes four Dhanur Disciples, unparalleled masters of the art of archery, to wreak havoc from above – while the Disciples are also available as a full-fledged regiment in their own right. Finally, the boundless magic of a Maharaja can be added to the field; or rather over it, as the Favored of Hormus character is also released, ready to be mounted on the Mahut for a stylish and terrifying combination.

In a series of endless attempts to address his grief, the Sorcerer King Hormus has created countless replicas of his lost companion, sharing them with his people freely. While the number of such gifts seems to take away from the honor bestowed, their usefulness and hardiness – as undoubtedly portrayed on the tabletop – proves just how powerful this gift is. With them, come the Dhanur Disciples, archers dedicated wholly to their art, as their needs and wants are attended, in order for them to become masters; dangerous in their own right and perfect regiments for spellcaster characters. With the Mahut, coupled with the devastating ranged power of the Dhanur Disciples, nothing but victory awaits Sorcerer Kings Warlords. Whether the Dhanur Disciples or the Favored of Hormus are on the back of the Mahut, one thing is certain: terror on the field and hours of hobby time are about to be combined for all Sorcerer Kings enthusiasts!
