Bad Idea’s “secret” comic The First Seven Days is out today
Comic publisher Bad Idea is up to more games, this time a “secret release”. The First Seven Days was solicited through Diamond under a new publisher, B-Side Press. The comic featured fake creator credits, a sparse synopsis, and odd cover. Since it was through Diamond, every store had an opportunity to order copies of the comic, as you didn’t have to be a part of Bad Idea’s limited “destination store” program.
The comic is already a hot item, hard to find, with prices of upwards of $75 as of this post.
How this “helps” stores beyond selling the comic at a much higher price than cover due to demand and low supply? We’re not quite sure, but it’s another odd move from the rather intriguing publisher that might be known more for stunts than their actual comics.
Good luck in your search!
