NYCC 2022: CBLDF Defending Comics Today panel
The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is at New York Comic Con and offering the panel CBLDF: Defending Comics Today taking place on Sunday, October 9, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The panel discussion will include CBLDF board members Amy Chu, Joseph Illidge, and Jen King. Interim director Jeff Trexler will be on hand to discuss the recent victory of Gender Queer in Virginia Beach and next steps. Also being discussed will be recent and worrying legislation, the impact of international politics on algorithms in the United States, and local strategies for protecting free speech in your communities.
Attendees can also pick up a limited CBLDF Victory in Virginia booklet by stopping by Amy Chu’s booth (C-12) in Artist Alley!
