Villains get the spotlight in new images from Superman: The Complete Animated Series

Villains get their due today in new images featuring Darkseid, Jax-Ur, Bizarro, and Mr. Mxyzptlk as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment celebrates the 25th anniversary of Superman: The Animated Series with the fully remastered release of the acclaimed series — on Blu-ray for the very first time — TOMORROW, Tuesday, October 26.

  • Bizarro, in mid-punch (of Superman). Tim Daly (Madame Secretary, Wings) did double duty as the voices of both Superman and Bizarro.
  • Darkseid, his eyes literally ablaze. Darkseid is voiced by Michael Ironside (Total Recall, Starship Troopers)
  • Jax-Ur, being hauled away by Superman. Jax-Ur is voiced by Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy)
  • Mr. Mxyzptlk, doing his best to annoy Superman. Mr. Mxyzptlk is voiced by Gilbert Gottfried (Aladdin, Problem Child)
