Under Armor Debuts Star Wars Alter Ego The Imperial Collection. Forgets Women.
If you’re a fan of Under Armor and a fan of Star Wars, you should be pretty happy as the company as debuted a new collection dubbed the “Star Wars Under Armor Alter Ego The Imperial Collection.”
The company has more than their workout gear including hoodies. The gear looks to be just for men and young boys which is a bit baffling. I know as many female Star Wars fans as male, so there’s an audience the company has seemed to have missed. Hopefully they’ll expand their line and we’ve reached out to them about it.
You can check out the line here.

They did and continue to do this with their superhero line (Alter Ego) as well, despite many complaints. They did a few women’s sizes in that line, but they skipped most of the characters (I recall they’ve done Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, and Black Widow) and in almost every case did them in bright “girl” color schemes. The men & boys lines got them in accurate, cosplay-esque colors.
Disneyland has an Avengers Half Marathon and a Star Wars Half Marathon and the runners for both are 60%+ female, but we still can’t buy a damn Captain America shirt in the correct size & colors.
Yeah, I remember there being a couple of options for the Alter Ego line. There were choices (and we can debate if they’re good choices) at least. There looks to be just Supergirl now.
I’m not finding anything for this line though. I’ve asked them about it.
