Sandy Fox, Lex Lang to Participate in Otakon 2015
Married voice actors Sandy Fox and Lex Lang have been added by Otakorp Inc. to the guest roster for Otakon 2015. Fox plays Black Lady and Chibiusa in the new Sailor Moon Crystal, as well as Eddelrittuo in ADNOAH.ZERO, while Lang is best known for playing Han Solo in the Star Wars video games and Sanoske Sagara in the Ruroni Kenshin anime series.
Fox began her career in voice acting with an array of voices for “The Simpsons,” “King of the Hill,” and “Futurama”. She is recognized for her unique and child-like voice, and in addition to her roles in “Sailor Moon Crystal” and “ALDNOAH.ZERO,” she has played Mina in “Naruto,” Cylindria in “Pacman’s Ghostly Adventures,” Peashy in “Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory,” and Flonne in the “Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten” video games. She also voiced the faeries and creatures in Disney’s “Maleficent” and various characters in the blockbuster, “Wreck it Ralph.” Fox’s animation roles include Daisy in Disney’s “Princess Palace Pets,” Harmony in “Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi,” T-AI in FOX’s “Transformers: Robots in Disguise,” Mipsy Mipson in Nickelodeon’s “As Told by Ginger,” and Melody in “My Life as a Teenage Robot.” She has also voiced legendary anime characters, including Mina and Momiji in “Naruto,” Himespetchi in “Tamagotchi,” Sumomo in “Chobits,” Flonne in “Disgaea,” Ritz in “Bleach,” Tachikoma in “Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex,” Marie in “Please Teacher!”, Kyoko in “Akira,” Mistral and Mirielle in “.HACK” and Paiway in “Vandread.” Fox has become internationally known, as well, for voicing Betty for Universal Studios and King Syndicate Features since 1991.
She is also co-founder of H2Om Water with Intention, Love Planet Productions and The Love Planet Foundation, a 501(c) non-profit which creates education and awareness for social and environmental issues.
Over the last 18 years, Lang’s voice talents have contributed to over 500 original animation episodes, anime series, and video games. In addition to his work in the “Star Wars” video games and “Ruroni Kenshin” anime series, Lang has played a wide assortment of heroes and villains throughout his career, including The Grim Creeper in the video game “Skylanders,” Spyglass in the video game “Titanfall,” Dr. Doom in “The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” cartoon series and Marvel video games, Lance Charming in “Ever After High,” Dr. Polaris and Dick Grayson as Batman in “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” Barry on “The Regular Show,” Marechio Omaeda in the anime series “Bleach,” Hayate Gekko in “Naruto,” and Shozin the Fire Lord in “Avatar: The Last Airbender” animated series, Egor in “Durarara!” and many more. He is also the voice of Batman for Mattel and is in-demand in the movie business as a voice match specialist and creature sounds specialist. He can be heard in many blockbuster films, including “Ironman 3,” “Wolverine,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” and “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” and the upcoming “Jurassic World.” His video game directing credits include “Warhawk,” “Starship Troopers,” “GRID,” “World of Warcraft” and “Dirt 2.”
Otakon 2015 will be held July 24-26 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD. Otakon 2015 is celebrating fairy tales, folk stories, myths, and legends.
