Shatner, Englund, Williams Among Top Celebrities Scheduled To Attend Inaugural Wizard World Des Moines, June 12-14
Wizard World continues its 2015 schedule with its first visit to the Iowa Events Center at Wizard World Comic Con Des Moines, June 12-14. William Shatner, Robert Englund, Billy Dee Williams, Michael Cudlitz, Cassandra Peterson, Jewel Staite and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins and Diva Paige headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza.
Englund, Cudlitz and Staite will appear Saturday and Sunday, June 13-14; Shatner will attend on Friday and Saturday, June 12-13; Rollins is scheduled for Friday and Paige for Saturday; Williams and Peterson are scheduled for all three days of the event.
Other well-known Wizard World Comic Con Des Moines guests include Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Mewes, Manu Bennett, Dean Cain, J. August Richards, Michael Rosenbaum, Lou Ferrigno, Ernie Hudson, Jason David Frank and the Boondock Saints duo of Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco .
Wizard World is also the home of the most creative comics artists and writers on the planet. Artist Alley at Wizard World Comic Con Des Moines will feature Neal Adams, Mike Zeck, Phil Hester, Michael Golden, Arthur Suydam, James O’Barr, Renee Witterstaetter, Dean Haspiel, Kenneth Rocafort and many others.
In addition, all full-price Wizard World Comic Con Des Moines attendees will receive a limited edition exclusive variant cover The Walking Dead comic, drawn by one of Wizard World’s talented artist guests (to be announced shortly). Comics will be issued at registration while supplies last and VIP attendees will receive an additional black & white sketch version.
The 2015 Wizard World Des Moines show hours are Friday, June 12, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, June 13, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, June 14, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Wizard World Comic Con Des Moines is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday night.
