Guardians of the Galaxy has turned into the little(ish) movie that could. The film is in its twelfth week at the box office, coming in 13th place and earning a little over $1 million. It’s not the only “comic” movie holding on and earning cash. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is in its eleventh week and earned an additional $520,000. Very overlooked, Snowpiercer is in its seventeenth week, and earned $1,200. If you haven’t seen that one, do yourself a favor and grab a copy when it hits video soon.

When it comes to totals for the year, Guardians has moved into fourth place when it comes to worldwide grosses, and there’s a good chance it will move into at least third when the ride ends. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes also cross the $700 million mark worldwide, the seventh film to do so this year.
