INDIANAPOLIS (January 25, 2011) – Gen Con Indy, the original, longest running, best attended, gaming convention in the world, accelerates into 2011 with the opening of event submissions and pre-registration. On January 14th, Gen Con began accepting submissions for gaming events; event organizers have already created over 1,000 events in the first week alone. Sunday January 23rd Gen Con officially kicked off badge pre-registration. Gen Con Indy will take place at the Indiana Convention Center August 4-7, 2011. It promises to be an exciting year with new space in the convention center and hotels. Commitments from exhibitors are stronger than ever: Mayfair Games has already stepped up as an official co-sponsor of Gen Con Indy 2011!
