Life on what is left of the Earth is dragging on.

Nothing changes, except that the evidence of the damage that humans inflicted on the planet is slowly being erased. For Wayne, Jeremiah, and Soham, their abandoned march across the empty city begins once again, as the lack of food drives them to set out once more in search of a means of survival.

All is business as usual until a sign catches their eye, and their thirst for other human contact leads them to investigate…

New York Comic Con 2017: Statix Press Announces English Translation of Atlas & Axis!

Titan Comics and Statix Press have announced that creator Pau’s Prix Du FIBD Angoulême award-nominated comic – Atlas & Axis – is being translated for a whole new US audience, next January.

In the fantastical world of Pangea, all the animals talk and walk on two paws. Warriors Atlas and Axis are mutts of very different pedigrees: Atlas is intelligent and rational, a calculating hero, while Axis is more likely to take a wild swing when his blood runs hot. When our roaming adventurers return home to find Viking raiders – brutes from the North who pillage and kill all who fall under their claws – have destroyed their village, they set off on a perilous quest across land and sea to save what remains of their friends and family!

Featuring an all-new cover by Roman Dirge, the creator of cult-favorite Lenore, Atlas & Axis Issue #1 arrives in comic stores and digital devices on January 10, 2018.

The apocalypse has been and gone. The age of humanity is at an end, and horrifying insect aliens from the depths of infinite space are the new masters of the Earth!

What does resistance mean, when there’s nothing left to fight for?

That’s what Wayne, Jeremiah, and Soham, the only survivors of the devastating invasion, struggle with – seeking a future that justifies their presence on a ruined world.

As they pick through the remains of human civilization, keeping out of reach of the bugs, none of them suspect that they are part of a much larger plan, one that involves another, unknown, survivor!
