Batman: Arkham Knight Announced

Today, Batman: Arkham Knight has been officially announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, and is scheduled for release worldwide in 2014. The game is the epic conclusion to Rocksteady Studios’ award-winning, best selling Batman: Arkham videogame series and will introduce a drivable Batmobile and a fully-realized Gotham City.

In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady’s uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman: Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City.

Rocksteady Studios have just announced the Game of the Year Edition of the award winning Batman: Arkham City. It will include Catwoman, Nightwing, and Robin Add-Ons. As well as an Arkham City Skin pack, Challenge Pack, the Batman: Year One movie, and finally, introducing the final Chapter; Harley Quinn’s Revenge Expansion Pack. To be released May 29th.

Robin Comes to Batman: Arkham City

Thanks to Kotaku for the heads up but Robin is available for the video game Batman: Arkham City. For $7.00 Robin is playable in all of the game’s challenge maps and comes with two of his own: Black Mask and Freight Train.

The game comes from Warner Bros. and Rocksteady.

First Look at Batman: Arkham City Robin

While some seemed shocked that Robin is a playable character in the upcoming Rocksteady video game Batman: Arkham City, the pre-order tease at the Best Buy website tipped everyone to that fact. Those who pre-order will get “exclusive early access” which just means you’ll either have to unlock him in game or purchase him as downloadable content (we don’t know which).

IGN though has the first look at the playable character and it looks like Tim Drake will be taking up the mantle. Drake in comics continuity is the third Robin.
