Tomorrow, October 22, sees the debut of 13 Coins by Eisner award-winning artist Simon Bisley, and the screenwriters of Hitman: Absolution, Martin Brennan and Michael B Jackson.

What we found out today is the first issue allows readers to view Simon Bisley’s cover in 3D via digital device.

On the back cover of 13 Coins #1 readers are prompted to download the ’13 Coins app’ from the iTunes App store by searching ’13COINSCOMIC’.

In the app readers are then prompted to click the scanner unlock button. It in turn opens the scanner camera prompting the reader to scan the back cover of 13 Coins #1.

This then unlocks the issue #1 digitally on their device of the reader who bought it and is rewarded with Simon Bisley cover in 3d within their device.

What’s the comic about?
