Marvel Stormbreakers celebrate 20 years of the Young Guns/Stormbreakers program with variant covers

2024 will mark 20 years of Marvel spotlighting and elevating the industry’s most powerful artists as Marvel’s Stormbreakers, the evolution of the groundbreaking Marvel’s Young Guns program. To celebrate, the current class will pay tribute to the original class of Young Guns in January’s collection of Stormbreakers Variant Covers. Throughout January, see these elite artists depict some of Marvel’s current headlining stars in separate pinup pieces that will unite to form an epic jam piece just like the one the first Young Guns crafted in 2004. While January’s covers will feature the individual characters, fans can also check out the complete jam piece today!

Each month, Marvel’s Stormbreakers bring their incredible talents to your favorite comic series and characters and flex their skills with exciting themed variant cover collections. The current group of artists includes Elena Casagrande, Nic Klein, Jan Bazaldua, Chris Allen, Martín Cóccolo,Lucas Werneck, Federico Vicentini, and C.F. Villa. Each of these artists embody the raw talent and creative potential to shatter the limits of visual storytelling in comics today!

The Edge of Spider-Verse returns with even more new Web-Slingers!

Edge of Spider-Verse, the now perennial Spider-Hit is back and this time, it’s building to the biggest Spider-Verse epic in Marvel Comics history! Launching in February, the series will take readers to the bleeding edge of the Spider-Verse once more, reacquainting you with old favorites and introducing you to some of the most important web-slinging heroes you haven’t met yet!

Spider-Boy swings into his first ongoing series

Last year, Spider-Boy leapt onto the scene in Dan Slott and Mark Bagley’s hit Spider-Man series where he discovered that no one, not even his mentor and idol Peter Parker, remembered him. But while the characters of the Marvel Universe may not know this mysterious young hero, fans certainly do! After scoring sold-out printings of both his first appearance in Spider-Man #7 and his first solo adventure in last week’s Edge of Spider-Verse #3, Spider-Boy, aka Bailey Briggs, will soon headline his very own solo ongoing series starting this November!

Spider-Boy will be penned by Spider-Boy co-creator Dan Slott, drawn by hotshot artist Paco Medina, and feature covers by Spider-Boy co-creator Humberto Ramos. Spinning directly out of Spider-Man, the new series will dive headfirst into Spider-Boy’s untold past by introducing his arch-nemesis and further exploring his connections to the Spider-Man mythos. Join Spider-Boy as he battles to restore his destiny and retake his place amongst the great heroes of the Marvel Universe!

Here comes the spectacular SPIDER-BOY! After the events of THE END OF THE SPIDER-VERSE story arc, Spider-Boy’s secret history as Spider-Man’s sidekick was nearly forgotten forever. Spider-Boy leaps into his first solo adventures on Mark Bagley’s Edge of Spider-Verse #3 cover

Fans are wild about Spider-Boy! The breakout hero’s blockbuster debut last month in Spider-Man #7 scored multiple second printings and speculation about Spider-Man’s long-lost sidekick’s mysterious backstory. His unbelievable origins will begin to unravel in Edge of Spider-Verse #3 where the character’s co-creators, Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos, team up for Spider-Boy’s first solo outing! On sale June 21, Edge of Spider-Verse #3 will have multiple variant covers featuring Spider-Boy. Yesterday, fans got to see Ramos’ variant cover and now it’s time to reveal a stunning piece by Mark Bagley, the artist behind the Spider-Boy’s first appearance.

Spider-Boy leapt onto the scene during Dan Slott and Mark Bagley’s “End of the Spider-Verse” storyline, but he swears he’s not from the Spider-Verse at all! Despite no one recognizing him, he claims to have had plenty of adventures and team-ups with Spidey right in the 616! It’s a head-spinning mystery that’s only just begun!
