That’s when Tambi Baker decides to take matters into her own hands and enlist three of her finest Parker Girl operatives to bring the Lot Empire down, one shocking scandal at a time.

007 #1 (Dynamite Entertainment) – We’re suckers for James Bond and this debut feels like a solid start to a new adventure. Read our review.

Astronaut Down #3 (AfterShock) – We’re sucked into this series about a desperate mission across the multiverse to stop a world destroying event. It’s awesome sci-fi embracing what makes the genre so good.

A.X.E.: Judgement Day #2 (Marvel) – The debut issue was a solid start to a major event that pits the X-Men against Eternals with the Avengers caught in-between. This issue really shakes things up as far as the story and direction.

DCeased: War of Undead Gods #1 (DC Comics) – The final chapter in the DCeased saga begins here!

The Deadliest Bouquet #1 (Image Comics) – A Nazi hunter is killed and her estranged daughters must solve her murder and avoid killing each other in the process.

Eight Billion Genies #4 (Image Comics) – The series has been amazing with huge, world altering concepts, but a tight focus on the impact of it all.

Frank Lee After Alcatraz (Titan Comics) – Frank Lee really escaped from Alcatraz but what happened after is a mystery. This graphic novel imagines what came next.

Love Everlasting #1 (Image Comics) – A new spin on classic romance comics, this one has a lot of buzz and good word of mouth from early reviews.

Mindset #2 (Vault Comics) – With the mind control signal discovered, what can it do? Also, how far will they go with it?

Parker Girls #1 (Abstract Studios) – When a body washes ashore, the Parker Girl operatives decide to bring down the empire of the person behind it.

Predator #1 (Marvel) – With Prey out on Hulu, this release feels perfectly timed. Marvel has been knocking it out of the park with its Alien comic series and we’re expecting the same here.

Batman: Urban Legends #1 (DC Comics) – An anthology featuring top talent taking on the world of Batman? Yeah, we’re in for this one.

Blade Runner Origins #1 (Titan Comics) – Discover the origin of the Blade Runners in this brand-new series!

Blue, Barry, & Pancakes (First Second) – A cute graphic novel geared towards young readers with lessons about friendship and listening.

Children of the Atom #1 (Marvel) – This series has been a long-time coming. The covers and art has hinted at a group that has a lot of inspiration from classic X-Men characters but what’s their deal? It’s not what we expected and a solid mystery.

Eternals #3 (Marvel) – The characters are coming to the big screen and this series is clearly an attempt to re-introduce them to the Marvel comic universe. So far, it’s been an interesting start though a little scattered in focus. The art has stood out as amazing though.

The Joker #1 (DC Comics) – We’ll admit, we were a bit skeptical about this one when announced but the first issue is a solid setup that has us excited for more.

Karmen #1 (Image Comics) – Guillem March’s series comes to Image as five single issues.

Maiden #1 (Heavy Metal) – A tale of revenge from Heavy Metal featuring Michelle Sears and Bart Sears!

Maniac of New York #2 (AfterShock) – The first issue knocked it out of the park. A film-like serial killer exists and terrorizes New York City. This is the story of the two cops looking to bring it down.

Mighty Morphin #5 (BOOM! Studios) – The origin of the new Green Ranger!

Minerva’s Map Key to a Perfect Apocalypse #1 (Lev Gleason – New Friday) – Don’t know much about this beyond the description. Minerva has been hired to locate two ancient, otherworldly items. Kind of has an Indiana Jones vibe about it.

Non-Stop Spider-Man #1 (Marvel) – A new Spider-Man comic? Sure, we’re interested in seeing what makes it different.

Nottingham #1 (Mad Cave Studios) – A new take on the classic story of Robin Hood. Read our review.

Proctor Valley Road #1 (BOOM! Studios) – During a “Spook Tour”, students goes missing and a rescue for them begins.

Scout’s Honor #3 (AfterShock) – The series so far has been an interesting spin on an apocalyptic world with some solid underlying themes. We want to see where it all goes.

Serial #2 (Abstract Studios) – Zoe is on the hunt for a serial killer hiding in plain sight in her community. The first issue threw out a lot of concepts, this second issue begins to bring them together.

Sh*tshow #2 (Scout Comics) – A big bad destroyed almost all of the world’s superheroes and now it’s back to snuff out the rest. Can those traumatized about the first battle stand against this world threat?

Space Bastards #3 (Humanoids) – The series is full of over-the-top violence and humor and each issue has left a smile on our face.

Specter Inspectors #2 (BOOM! Studios) – We expected the first issue to be a spoof of ghosthunting shows but the debut delivered something different and very entertaining.

Thor and Loki: Double Trouble #1 (Marvel) – Mariko Tamaki and Gurihiru are back together for another fun adventure!

American Vampire 1976 #4 (DC Comics/DC Black Label) – The series has been a lot of fun so far. Though it leans a bit towards those who have previously read the series, new readers should be able to enjoy it for the great action.

Ascencia #1 (Wake Entertainment) – The drummer of System of a Down brings his talents to comics in a story about what one would do to become immortal.

The Black Panther Party: A Graphic Novel History (Ten Speed Press) – The retelling of the group and its key figures

DC Future State (DC Comics) – DC Future State has been a pretty solid event so far. There’s only been a few clunkers but overall, it’s been a pretty solid “gimmick”. This week’s releases include Future State: Dark Detective #1, Future State: Green Lantern #1, Future State: Justice League #1, Future State: Kara Zor-El, Superwoman #1, Future State: Robin Eternal #1, Future State: Superman/Wonder Woman #1, Future State: Teen Titans #1.

HaHa #1 (Image Comics) – The new miniseries features a rotating group of artists joining W. Maxwell Prince to explore the world of clowns.

Home Sick Pilots #2 (Image Comics) – The debut issue was a creepy start of a haunted house story. We’re still not 100% sure of what’s going on but we really want to find out.

League of Super Feminists (Drawn & Quarterly) – A graphic novel guide to some of the central tenets of feminism.

Manns World #1 (AWA Studios) – A tale of survival when four individuals on a resort anger the planet’s working class. Could be very interesting.

Serial #1 (Abstract Studios) – A young girl has been stuck being 10 for 50 years due to the demon inside. Now the demon is free and killing and Zoe must stop it.

Soulstream #1 (Scout Comics) – Marie and Markus discover an alternate dimension known as the Mirror World where their entire city has been destroyed and replaced by a volcanic wasteland.

Space Bastards #1 (Humanoids) – An unemployed accountant joins the Intergalactic Postal Service. Delivery is mercenary where payment goes to whoever delivers the package.

Ever: The Way Out (Abstract Studios) – Terry Moore shifts to graphic novels and while we love his serialized comics, a complete story has us excited. This one about prophecies and fallen angels has us very intrigued.

I Walk With Monsters #1 (Vault Comics) – A story about the monsters within as a woman runs into the man who took away her brother.

Kaiju Score #1 (AfterShock) – It’s the most dangerous heist ever attempted. Four desperate criminals are going all in on a once-in-a-lifetime chance to steal millions in art and turn their miserable lives around. The catch? They have to pull it off under the nose of a one thousand-ton Kaiju.

Nailbiter Returns #7 (Image Comics) – The series has been a blast as its had fun with horror tropes keeping readers on their toes and delivering laughs.

The Other History of the DC Universe #1 (DC Comics/DC Black Label) – The first issue is absolutely brilliant as the talented John Ridley explores the DC Universe through the viewpoint of its minority characters.

Paris 2119 (Magnetic Press) – Instantaneous teleportation has altered almost every facet of human civilization but that progress has a price. The sci-fi/cyberpunk story has us intrigued.

Power Pack #1 (Marvel) – The Power Pack is back! But, with a law restricting underage superheroes, will they be able to continue to save the day?

The Red #1 (Heavy Metal Virus) – A single government runs the world after a nuclear war and content deemed emotionally dangerous is prohibited. A group of musicians discovers they’re the key to overthrowing the totalitarian government.

Science Comics: Rocks & Minerals (First Second) – Fun for kids and adults, this series are great graphic novels to learn about their topics.

Shang-Chi #3 (Marvel) – The first two issues have been fantastic as the team has reworked a problematic character. It’s full of action and adding so much depth to the character’s history.

Undiscovered Country #10 (Image Comics) – The series has kept us guessing as to what will happen next. The fact we’re constantly surprised is a good thing.

Yasmeen #4 (Scout Comics) – One of the best comics to come out this year, it’s been heartbreaking every issue.

The Witcher: Fading Memories #1 (Dark Horse) – If you’re a fan of the show, check out the new series!

X-O Manowar #2 (Valiant) – The series has been an interesting look at modern superheroes so far as X-O Manowar attempts to figure out his place in the world. The second issue really focuses on what the impact of superheroes would be in a real-world setting.
