In IT CAME!, ‘director’ Dan Boultwood has unearthed a lost classic from the forgotten Pinetree Studios.

An enormous alien robot lays waste to the English countryside, annihilating bunting, villages and diagonally-sliced sandwiches alike! Only the pipe-chomping space scientist Dr. Boy Brett and his assistant Doris Night (a lady) stand a chance of stopping it from marching all the way to London – but can they possibly escape the grasp of GRURK and get the might of the British Army on their side?!

Keep your upper lips stiff, your ties immaculately knotted, and your notions of gender equality dialled back sixty years – for the sake of the planet!

SHARKY is the Earthbound son of ODIN and the grandson of ZEUS – and he just hit puberty!

Sharky is 16 years old. All his life, he’s been raised by his mom, with no idea of who his father was.

Now he’s hit puberty, only to discover that the “no-good-S.O.B.” who contributed to his genes is none other than ODIN – not to mention his mother is a child of ZEUS!

Whenever something sets off his hormones, he transforms into the demi-god SHARKY – complete with a body The Rock would kill to have – and the strength of a superman!

When two of his long lost ‘relatives’ visit Earth and decide to create havoc by raising the dead, Sharky has to pick sides, with the fate of the planet at stake. With no time for training, it’s a case of working out Superhero 101 as he goes – and if he fails, his friends’ lives are forfeit!

With guest appearances from indie comics favorites THE MASK, VAMPIRELLA, SAVAGE DRAGON, MILK & CHEESE, MR MONSTER and FLAMING CARROT!

Nothing worse’n a Mathematician in love. As he died, in 1969, a Mathematician glimpsed the equation that drives the universe. This allowed him to strike a deal with the Divine Calculator: to be reincarnated, with all his memories intact, for another chance with the woman he loves.

In exchange, when he dies for a second time, he’ll go straight into the workforce of the Afterlife, setting free another operative – a surly chap in a bowler hat by the name of BASTARD ZANE.

But the Divine Calculator has a horrible sense of humor, and he’s incarnated the Mathematician thirty years after his death, in a poverty pit on the other side of the planet. The Mathematician still has a plan to spin things in his favor… but Zane isn’t taking any chances with his cosmic get-out clause.

After all, they don’t call him BASTARD for nothing!

The Award Winning A1 Returns! With a Preview!

Titan Comics LogoTitan Comics has announced the return of A1, the award-winning anthology series by Dave Elliott! Hitting stores on June 5, 2013, A1 is a new monthly series featuring three fantastic ongoing strips: Weirding Willows, Odyssey and Carpe DIEm.

A1 has a long pedigree in comics. Launched in the late 1980s as an outlet for the creator-owned stories of Dave Elliott and Gary Leach, the award-winning anthology quickly became a place where big-name industry friends could follow their creator-owned desires and publish their own material.

Some of those industry friends included Alan Moore, Barry Windsor-Smith, Eddie Campbell, Dave Gibbons, Brian Bolland, Bill Sienkiewicz, Neil Gaiman, Dave McKean, Glenn Fabry, Peter Milligan, David Lloyd, Phil Bond, Jamie Hewlett, Dougie Braithwaite, Grant Morrison, Moebius, Alan Martin, D’Israeli, Kelly Jones, Nick Abadzis, Steve Dillon and many, many more.

Elliott is taking A1 back to its roots, with three top-grade tales created by himself and his closest artistic friends, released as part of a co-publishing venture between Titan Comics and Atomeka.

A1 will showcase three brand-new ongoing stories reflecting the variety it has always been known for:

Weirding Willows, by writer Dave Elliott and artists Barnaby Bagenda, Sami Basri, Sakti Yuwono and Jessica Kholinne, sees the worlds of Wonderland, OZ, Neverland, Mars, Pellucidar and Elysium leak through portals into the little English town of Willow Weir, as Alice and her allies defend her world from the things that would come through those portals to destroy them!

Odyssey, by writer Dave Elliott and artists Garrie Gastonny and Sakti Yuwono, follows an immortal military superhero, out of place and time, who finds himself in the middle of an eternal war for mankind between Angels and Demons!

Carpe DIEm, by writer W. H. Rauf and artist/creator Rhoald Marcelius, follows an offbeat group of the world’s seven greatest assassins: one for each day of the week! Their leader is always a Sir Monday… but the rest of the team always hate Mondays! A riot of colour and concepts in a Tank Girl vein.
