NYCC 2025: The Chronicles Come to Life in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game this October!

Konami ushers in the very first product releases based around the Promotional Short Anime Series, Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game The Chronicles bringing them to life in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG). But first, the October kicks off with New York Comic Con and the Konami booth is packed with plenty of exciting Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG and Digital Games activities!

New York Comic Con is taking place at the Jacob Javits Center in New York, NY, and Konami will be in attendance during all four days of the convention! From October 9 through October 12, Duelists attending New York Comic Con can enjoy a variety of activities at the Konami booth. These activities include demo experiences for Yu-Gi-Oh! Digital Games and the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG; free giveaways; the opportunity to create a custom Token Card using the Token Card Photo Booth; and a chance to bring a constructed Deck to Duel against top Duelists in the “Duel the Master” challenge. Attendees will also be able to preview future products and will have the opportunity to purchase special merchandise exclusive to the event.

New at the Konami booth at New York Comic Con in 2025 is a Deck-building Station available for attendees that want to further their Dueling journey. The Deck-building Station is also perfect for discussing and testing the new Deck-building possibilities introduced by the recently announced Yu-Gi-Oh! Genesys, a brand-new format that revolutionizes how the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG can be played. There’s also a free promo pack containing Rescue Rabbit (eFootball version)  Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG card and a Token Card featuring international soccer superstar, Neymar Jr. available for attendees that download an eFootball™ game and complete the tutorial. Lastly, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links saw a brand-new Duel Monsters World update on September 30 with new locations and unlockable players. Attendees can get a code at the booth for an exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links Chronicle Card Stamp along with two Special Packs (1 RUSH DUEL + 1 SPEED DUEL pack). 

Soon after New York Comic Con ends, two new products will be released. The Chronicles Deck: The Fallen & The Virtuous (All-Foil Edition) and The Chronicles: The Fallen & The Virtuous Card Sleeves both hit shelves on October 24.

The Chronicles Deck: The Fallen & The Virtuous (All-Foil Edition) 

The Chronicles: The Fallen & The Virtuous (All-Foil Edition) is the first ever Structure Deck released in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG in which every card is a foil. This special product contains 51 cards, including several cards based around key characters, places, and situations seen in the Promotional Short Anime Series Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game The Chronicles. The cards included are specifically based on the story running from June through November – The Fallen & The Virtuous – which tells the tale of monsters like Fallen of Albaz and Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous.

The Chronicles: The Fallen & The Virtuous (All-Foil Edition) comes with 2 brand-new cards that have never been seen before, 4 new variant arts of old favorites, and foil versions of the most popular cards centered around Fallen of Albaz. The Main Deck and Extra Deck include 50 cards combined, and each of those 50 cards is an Ultra Rare. The 51st card included in each product is a random Secret Rare. The Secret Rare inclusion is a repeat of one of the Deck’s Ultra Rares from a pool of 6 possible cards. Football Superstar Neymar Jr. Suits-Up in Special Costume for Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game × eFootball Collaboration

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced a special collaboration between the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game and eFootball. Players can take part in limited-time campaigns and events across eFootball series titles, Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL, and Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS to unlock exclusive rewards.

To kick off the collaboration, a brand-new trailer has been released, featuring global football icon Neymar Jr. suited-up in the collaboration costume. This unprecedented crossover brings together the worlds of football and Dueling, merging one of the sport’s brightest stars with one of the most beloved Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game monsters.

Players logging into eFootball and eFootball CHAMPION SQUADS during the event period will receive the collaboration-exclusive card. Additionally, progressing through the event and clearing objectives will allow you to obtain exclusive in-game cards, featuring five members from the French national team each alongside iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game monsters such as Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, and more.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legendary 5D’s Decks arrives in November

Konami reveals “Phantom Revenge” for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game

Phantom Revenge brings three brand-new themes so you can take vengeance on your competition in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game! Dedicated Duelists and collectors can get their hands on both Collector’s Rare and Starlight Rare upgrades in Phantom Revenge!

“Hecahands” are all about grabbing your opponent’s cards and making them yours! This high-Level theme, inspired by the hundred-handed giants of legend, is an Illusion Fusion-based strategy that welcomes your opponent’s monsters with open arms (and hands)!

Anybody with this many hands is gonna be pretty grabby, and Hecahands just can’t stop themselves from grabbing your opponent’s monsters! Whether your opponent’s monster is in their hand, Deck, Extra Deck, or Graveyard, the Hecahands have something that can grab that opponent’s monster and Summon it to YOUR field – permanently!

Hecahands also have plenty of other tools, to swap out each other in your Deck, Special Summon themselves, or even negate your opponent’s Spells & Traps – and take them for your own use!

But Hecahands are just the start! Two more themes are coming in Phantom Revenge – but more about that later!

A Flip theme that will punish your opponent for any action that they might take!

The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG – 2025 Mega-Pack Tin arrives in September

Big changes for this year’s Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game tins, as you’ll be able to get the annual Mega-Packs with or without the metal tin itself – and save a little money in the process!

As always, the centerpiece of the 2025 Mega-Pack Tin is the 3 Mega-Packs inside, each pack with a guaranteed variety of card rarities.

This year’s tins come with a new twist, though. You can get the standard metal tin (the ‘tin’ tin, so to speak) like always, or skip the metal tin and get just the Mega-Packs inside, with the separate 2025 Mega-Pack Bundle.

Either way, you still get your 3 Mega-Packs, but let’s look at how they’re different:

The 2025 Mega-Pack Tin (the actual ‘tin’ tin) comes with:

  • 1 metal tin, giving a whole new meaning to the “Heart of the Cards!”
  • 3 Deck Dividers showing off the cool art images depicted on the metal tin

Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Quarter Century Stampede arrives April 2025

Last Call for Quarter Century Secret Rares! Coming in April, Quarter Century Stampede will be the last chance to get some of your all-time favorite cards as Quarter Century Secret Rares, before this spectacular, shining rarity is gone forever.

This direct successor to Quarter Century Bonanza uses its same set and pack configuration, including a core set of more than 80 tournament-level cards, another massive 200-card nostalgia reprint pool, a guaranteed Luxury Secret Rare per pack, etc.

But this time, the nostalgia pool includes picks from the recent online poll asking Duelists which cards THEY want to see as Quarter Century Secret Rares. Over three thousand different cards had at least one Duelist voting for them to be included. Of the Top 100 card finalists in the poll, about a third are already in Quarter Century Bonanza, which is available now.

Another third were cards we were already planning to include in Quarter Century Stampede. And even though the poll was for the 200-card nostalgia set, lots of these cards were scheduled for the core set, available in multiple rarities, so we’re going to keep them there in the core set. These include old favorites like Miscellaneousaurus, Xtra HERO Cross Crusader, and Cyber Dragon Infinity, plus lots of newer cards like Mulcharmy Fuwalos, Chamber Dragonmaid, and Salamangreat Raging Phoenix. Other top-voted cards, like the heavily demanded Trap Dustshoot and Metamorphosis, are headed straight to the nostalgia pool as planned.

As for the rest… Petit Moth!? Okay, it’s going in the nostalgia pool! Along with other top finishers like Lovely Labrynth of the Silver Castle and Master Peace, the True Dracoslaying King. All 200 nostalgia pool cards will be included 1 per pack in either Platinum Secret Rare or Quarter Century Secret Rare, just like in Quarter Century Bonanza. We’ll be showing off more cards as we get closer to the set’s release!

The other 4 cards per pack, just like Quarter Century Bonanza, will be from the core set, which this time has some further additions. The primary core set of 80 cards will be available in all rarities (but no duplicate Quarter Century Secret Rares), just like before. However, also being added added are a bunch of brand-new variant art versions of existing cards, to the core set’s Quarter Century Secret Rare pool.

Quarter Century Stampede, along with Alliance Insight (releasing a few weeks later), will be the LAST releases to include Quarter Century Secret Rares. Get ‘em while you can!
