Yoshiaki Iwasaki will be a guest at Otakon 2026. Iwasaki is an anime director.

Iwasaki has directed numerous anime series including “Love Hina,” “The Familiar of Zero,” “Miss Monochrome,” “Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers,” and “Kowloon Generic Romance.”

His latest is “Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke.”

Otakon 2026 takes place July 31 to August 3 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
