Like all Rogue Trader DLCs, “The Infinite Museion” seamlessly integrates into the main game and adds new locations, quests, lore and artifacts to the already epic story. This time, the common theme is Necrons: players will be able to equip their characters with unique implants, utilizing them to explore artifact-rich locations all while the mysterious Trazyn manipulates them for his own benefit. Players can look forward to new reveals of what else the DLC will have in store for them — including the new companion character.

Owlcat Games Reveals Details about Rogue Trader’s Lex Imperialis DLC

Launching June 24, 2025, Lex Imperialis is the second major expansion for Warhammer 40,00: Rogue Trader. Thrusting players into the iron grip of Imperial Law, this DLC features a new 15-hour storyline that introduces the Adeptus Arbites, a faction of incorruptible enforcers, and a new companion—the grim and relentless Solomorne Anthar. With battle Familiars like cybernetic eagles and cyber-mastiffs, this DLC deeply enriches the gameplay and narrative layers of Rogue Trader.

New Stories Come to Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader with Season Pass 2

Also announced is Season Pass 2 for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, bundling two new expansions and an appearance customization pack. The third major addition to the game will allow players to enter a Necron vault curated by the iconic Trazyn the Infinite, challenge ancient guardians, and uncover relics tied to the Von Valancius legacy. The fourth one will let them explore the Processional of the Damned — a surreal voidship graveyard, in a descent into madness and mystery. Each DLC will feature a new companion character, new quests deeply integrated into the main storyline, new mechanics, and deliver around 15 hours of gameplay. 

Players who pre-purchase the new Season Pass will receive an exclusive Appearance Pack. This includes new hairstyles and augmenting implants that become instantly available for customizing their Lord Captain.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is Available Now on Xbox Game Pass

Developer and publisher Owlcat Games has shared that its critically acclaimed CRPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is now available on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series S/X and PC. Players who have a Game Pass subscription can now play the game completely for free. Everyone who uses the MS Store to play the game can share the same saves between PC and console. 

Just a month after its first anniversary, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader recently celebrated a million copies sold worldwide across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Owlcat Games has been thrilled by the positive feedback for the game and is excited to keep contributing to the Warhammer 40k universe.

Owlcat Games has announced that the critically acclaimed CRPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has reached one million sales worldwide on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

In September 2024, the game received its first massive expansion, Void Shadows, an epic addition that seamlessly integrates into the main narrative. This expansion introduced gripping new quests, formidable enemies, and an unforgettable companion — a mysterious Death Cult assassin.

Currently, the studio is working on the second major expansion, Lex Imperialis.
