Barack, Meet Miles

Third grade students from The Sumner Elementary school are on their way to Washington, DC for the planting of the White House Kitchen Garden with first lady Michelle Obama. Local comic book store Acme Comics decided to use the opportunity to pass along comic books to President Obama, a self admitted comic book fan.

Acme Comics staff gave the students copies of Ultimate Fallout #4, the first appearance of the Miles Morales Spider-Man, as well as G-Man: Cape Crisis #2 set in Greensboro, North Carolina where the store is located. The hope is the first lady will pass along the comic books to her husband.

I wonder what the President’s thoughts are on the new Spider-Man?
