My Father’s Dragon gets a graphic novel adaptation in September

Titan Comics has announced the publication of My Father’s Dragon, a breathtaking graphic novel adaptation of the Netflix animated feature, arriving on shelves September 15, 2026.

Inspired by Ruth Stiles Gannett’s beloved, Newbery-honoured children’s novel, My Father’s Dragon brings the magical adventure of Elmer and his quest to rescue a stranded young dragon to the comics page in glorious detail. 

The adaptation, published under the Titan Nova (YA) imprint, draws directly from the critically acclaimed film and features stunning artwork developed by the celebrated animation studio Cartoon Saloon, alongside Academy Award-nominated director Nora Twomey. My Father’s Dragon, streaming on Netflix, stars Jacob Tremblay, Gaten Matarazzo, Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, and Whoopi Goldberg.

The story follows Elmer as he struggles to adjust after a sudden move to the city with his mother. He runs away in search of the mysterious Wild Island – and a dragon in desperate need of rescue. His journey introduces him to ferocious beasts, a strange and wondrous land, and the beginnings of an unforgettable friendship.

Titan makes a call to Cthulhu with HP Lovecraft’s classic stories reimagined

NBA star Rudy Gobert’s debut graphic novel, BASH! gets a trailer

BASH — an intergalactic game of basketball played by superstar athletes from across the cosmos. Young Rudy comes from the poor neighborhood of Nevilia, but dreams of a being a BASH star, and his talent might just make it happen: but can he make it while threats come from every corner of the galaxy? Throughout the universe, there’s one sport that everyone’s a fan of: BASH! A brutal, high-octane version of basketball: its players are rockstars, legends, gods, and for young Rudy, a poor kid from Nevilia, his only dream is to be one of them.
 
Rudy’s got talent, but talent is nothing without practice and so he sets out to become the best BASH player in the galaxy, always training, always reaching for just one more dunk.
 
And while Rudy is starting to get noticed by the teams and the talent scouts, other, more sinister forces have started to creep out from the shadows, jealous of this rising young star.

NBA Star Rudy Gobert Debuts Graphic Novel Bash! In Spring 2023

Titan Comics is teaming up with four-time All-NBA Team player Rudy Gobert (representing the French National Team and the Minnesota Timberwolves, previously Utah Jazz) for BASH!: a brand new standalone graphic novel, scheduled for release in February 2023, which will take young-adult readers on a thrilling basketball adventure across the cosmos.

Featuring anime-inspired art from artist Vince Serrano, BASH! tells the story of young Rudy, a poor kid from planet Nelilia, who dreams of being a star player of BASH – a brutal, high-octane, intergalactic version of basketball, whose players are rockstars, legends and gods.

Rudy has the heart and talent, but whilst he’s starting to get noticed by the teams and talent scouts, other, more sinister forces have started to creep out from the shadows, jealous of the rising young star. Can Rudy make it to the top, while threats come from every corner of the galaxy?

The release of BASH! launches Titan Nova (a new imprint from Titan Comics), which will cater to middle grade and young adult readers aged 8 -16 and curious minds of all ages.
